Well I've into this now, good stuff! My friend code - Stu 0731 1348 7765 Diamond I've added everyone on the list as of this moment in time.

Oh, and it uses WiiConnect! You can share snapshots and levels, and it uses the wii address book, which is really well intergrated into it, really quick to load in, which makes me hope that all wii online games will work like this. But yes, send me stuff people, I sent a crappy level I made in about a minute to Hendo, so let me know if you got it

Been playing this for over an hour now, and it's brilliant! Hopefully it will last a while, certainly not easy, ok, the goals are, but to clear the stage looks like it will be rather challenging. Graphics aren't great, but do the job very well, bright and colourful... Controls are brilliant, I'd imagine this is how a FPS would work, maybe even Metroid Prime 3? Well, they certainly make you feel part of it, and respond perfectly to every command. Story is pants, but meh.. So yar, after this short time with it I'm impressed, well worth the wait.

a story that will make Hendo waggle ito the night - http://ds.qj.net/D3-Publisher-pleasantly-s...pg/49/aid/91236

pah! a Pokemon is only complete when you have ALL the pokemon!

haha!!! Or maybe you could put it to Barbie and her 12 magical lesbian princesses? Anyway, pm your paypal and i'll whack some money over to you!

well I got this as I'm a sucker for special Edge issues... Very disappointed with it, not really much concept art in there, far too many PS3 games, only 1 Nintendo game and no commentary for that Nowhere near as good as the Files, I wish they had kept making them as they only got up to about 96...

really? that would be rather awesome if you could do that would you want a small cash donation for your troubles?

he certainly did, and I think a few more are devoloped in scotland as we speak... his first creation is ace

I usually whack the charger in when the light goes red. Aye, have been playing an awful lot of touch screen games lately, and the R4 with the awesome homebrew minesweeper (with added mic goodness!), so that might explain it. I think i might get a new battery anyway, my Lite was second hand when I got it so I don't think it can hurt.... 11€ from the uk ninty website doesn't seem bad.

How long is the life of one of these? How do you know you're getting to the stage of having to replace it? In the last few days I've noticed that I'm having to charge mine up every day, only getting about 4 hours of use out of it.. Is this normal? Should I get a replacement, if so, how much/easy to fit? Thank you
-
but to be fair i'm not normal, I have about 4 DS sudoku games :S

i admit it, i didn't like it at first, but hey, people can change their minds

totally addicted to this now. wasn't convinced at first, but by George, has it got that something! I'm a level 16 Knight, I've got everything for my Citidal, I've seiged 1 venue, got 2 mounts, 3 companions, and basically I'm kicking arse! The way the game opens up and really forces to think about every move you make, often 2 or 3 goes in advance, along with the timed rounds to improve skills and mounts, is fantastic! DS Game of the year!
-
we also get the odd game first... kororinpa, wii play are 2 that spring to mind also, picross ds is out here before the US....

I've always felt that they try to hard to be cool, and at the same time thier sound stays identical, nothing very different in any of thier lp's... they are ok, not great in my opinion... New single that Hendo mentions is ok too.

Ben wrote: Damn I forgot about this, grrr! Wonderful film this, the ending is so sad, it's like a part of that life where you're best mate moves on and leaves you behind to struggle on.. I also forgot to whack Series 7 : The Contenders onto my list, so I might edit it now and put those 2 on it... Series 7 by the way is a wonderful satire on reality TV. The style of it is spot on.

valid points illdog.. don't fear for the sanity of the site though, because I genuinely do see people like hendo and ed et al still buying games in the same amount, for they are collectors. and that's the point, a collector will continue to build their collection. I think that Pokemon proves that. you can never replace the feeling of having a boxed game, and we all know that I think.

I was sorting out my DVD collection earlier, and that get me thinking, just what is the top ten film list of the members of DS-Wiifi? Here's mine - 1. Magnolia 2. The Wicker Man (Original) 3. The Godfather I & II (this counts as one film) 4. A Clockwork Orange 5. Apocalypse Now : Redux 6. Dr Strangelove (Or How I learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb) 7. Ghost Dog 8. Fahrenheit 451 9. Full Metal Jacket 10. Citizen Kane *edited to include 2 more, cos I can* 11. Withnail & I 12. Series 7 : The Contenders So yar, this is mine, I'm happy to have discussion about any of them, as opposed to just a thread of lists that don't interact with each other.....

I had a DS at first, loved it, then played a Lite. I could never go back to the original now. the screens on the Lite are simply amazing, the 4 various brightness settings a brilliant idea, I have mine on 3 most of the time and the display is miles better then that of an iPod Colour and even a PSP. As for the rest of the Lite, once you get used to the buttons, I think you'll find that you like them much much more. They are far more responsive and have a much more satisfying travel then the originals.. The dPad is also much much better as are the placement of the power, start and select buttons. I actually struggle to believe the same company designed the 2 systems, they are that different in philosophy and design. The DS Lite to me is the best designed hand held there has ever been. And to use an original does a disservice to your game collection, cos the games look so much better on the Lite.

nice one sly, also loving the tengo! great lp that, deeper into movies and space bepop are in my head at the mo.

well so far I have Darkstar and Wordup. Darkstar is a laugh, its paint, minesweeper and tictactoe in one software package, pointless yet funky! word up is like tetris mixed with boggle mixed with scrabble, and surprisngly bloody good fun. both are basic and lacking in features as most homebrew titles. more to follow.....

there is but its well hidden under some scary menus....
