Hendo
Here's my list, no idea how many there are but tried to list the most important games, along with the ones I had the most fun with. In most cases the sequels may have improved upon them but I chose the first out of importance. Edit: 54 - I reckon I could chop off Kingdom For Keflings, Awesomenauts, Driver and Iron Brigade for a super strong top 50. 42 All-Time Classics A Kingdom For Keflings Animal Crossing : Wild World Assassin's Creed Awesomenauts Bastion Batman : Arkham Asylum Battlefield 1943 Bioshock Boom Blox Braid Burnout Paradise Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare Dark Souls Dead Rising Dead Space Deadly Premonition Disc Drivin' Driver San Francisco Fable II Far Cry 2 Fez Flower Gears of War Ghost Squad Grand Theft Auto IV Halo 3 Iron Brigade Journey L.A. TromaDogg
Games I've had probably the most fun with this gen, in no particular order: Wii Sports Resort - Massively improved on Wii Sports, with tons more variety and extra things to occupy even single players for ages Banjo Kazooie: Nuts 'n Bolts - Looks gorgeous, is extremely clever and inventive in lots of ways. I think it's underappreciated. Assassin's Creed 2 - Massive improvement over the dull original game, completely changed my opinion of the series. Super Mario Galaxy - Quite possibly the best third person platformer ever made. At least it's one of the best. The soundtrack's fantastic. Bioshock - Tells a strong immersive story without getting bogged down by cutscenes. A brilliantly atmospheric game. Xenoblade Chronicles - Outstandingly good RPG. The voice acting is a bit naff but the gamplay more than makes up for it. Red Dead Redemption - Interesting gameworld, characters, storyline and enjoyable missions. Big improvement over the disappointing GTA4. Just Cause 2 - Superb open world game with an absolute ton of side missions to get on with. Like a giant virtual playground. Shadow Complex - Excellent Metroidvania style XBLA game with a very well designed map. Sonic Colors - Easily the best Sonic game in years, should've been Sonic 4 rather than the disappointing episodic crap we got instead. Super Street Fighter 4 - Fantastic 2D fighter with lovely visual, felt as good as playing Street Fighter 2 back in the day. Tatsunoko vs Capcom - Maybe the only 'Capcom vs.' game I've really enjoyed. Great controls (Classic Controller) and varied character line up. Gears Of War 2 - For me, the pinnacle of the GoW series. Superbly campaign and online multiplayer, it justified my Xbox Live Gold supcription for a long time. Minecraft - Suprisingly good game that lets you create pretty much anything within reason. Hours of your life fly by whilst playing it. A Boy & His Blob - Utterly charming 2D platformer with beautiful hand drawn sprites and some very clever puzzles. Mirror's Edge - First person platformer that really shouldn't work as well as it does. Can't wait for the sequel. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift - Well designed, lush looking courses with multiple routes and shortcuts, loads of different vehicles to try out. And it's bloody fast. Rayman Oranges - A near perfect 2D platformer....looks fab, sounds fab, is extremely tough in places but never unfair. Uncharted 2 - By far Naughty Dog's best game IMO. A huge variety of locations and setpieces keep it constantly fresh and entertaining througout. Lollipop Chainsaw - Hilariously poor taste brawler with tight gameplay, good levels and a great B-movie style plot. Suda 51 at his best. Sin & Punishment: Successor Of The Skies - Brilliant use of Wii pointer controls, and an obvious early inspiration for Kid Icarus Uprising on 3DS. Rabbids Go Home - Even if you fucking hate the Rabbids themselves, it's a great, extremely original game with strong shades of Katamari Damacy. Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Many Castlevania purists hate this, but for me it stole many of the best parts of God Of War and Shadow Of The Colossus and made them it's own. Loved the story. Loved the locations. Loved the puzzles. Loved the boss fights and setpieces. Loved the twist at the end.

I'm down to stuff that I don't think is terrible, but don't think I'd want to put in an unnumbered list of the best games. Silent Hill Shattered Memories and Spec Ops for example, I've a lot of time for both but I didn't especially enjoy them, then stuff like Bioshock and Gears (I don't even know which one), I didn't hate them but they don't deserve the same DM Seal of Approval as The World Ends With You also I've not finished Last of Us yet

Uncle Dokuro
I just finished compiling my list of all the games I bought and played during the seventh generation of consoles. They cover Nintendo DS, PSP, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. My list also includes DLC that added gameplay content, but I left off DLC that was purely cosmetic or add no new gameplay. I also did not include things like Vita, because I classify it as eighth generation. I come to a few conclusions: 1.) I like games from Sega, 2.) I played and owned more games on PlayStation 3 then I did on Xbox 360 - That was a big shocker to me and 3.) I spent way to much on this hobby during the seventh generation. Maybe when I have time I compile the list of games from the seventh generation that I thought was the best.
