The Stanley Parable

[DANGERMAN]

This might shock you, but I wasn't feeling The Stanley Parable initially. My first few endings comprised of 2 that I'd seen in the original mod and one was a bit optionless, still relatively clever, just not compared to the standard the game set.

it picks up though, there's an ending that is really convoluted to get to, it involves what might be a classed as a secret route, but fucking hell it's incredible

even as a spoiler I don't want to say exactly what it involves, but you get to play some other games

the achievements are great too, I don't know if they're real but they include 88888888888888888888888888888888888888, don't play the game for 5 years, and unachievable

I played the demo, which as far as I can tell is standalone content not in the full game. I really liked it, I'll be buying the full game for sure.

Played through the demo, it's brilliant. Full marks for making something completely independent of the full game.

I played for about an hour and a half last night. It's funny and interesting and baffling and the narration is excellent.

I laughed out loud the third time II visited the broom closet.

I had a quick run though before work, doing exactly what I was told to do, except I had a surprising bit of extra dialogue when putting in the code in the boss's office a little too early.

Played and finished this earlier.

 

Thought it was funny at times and reminded me of Davey Wreden's other game The Beginner's Guide quite a bit, but I never really loved it at all and grey tired of it after finishing it about 10 times and getting a few different endings.
