Sly Reflex
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShMootQvl_0 So... I wasn't expecting this. I thought Hendo was joking with me when he was telling me about it. Thoughts?
Manicm
WTF?? how do you even play that? turn based? go in gun slinging? crazy!
Hendo
From what I saw while playing Torchlight 2, it looked the most interesting game I'd seen!
Hendo
Not turn-based. It's basically Plants vs Zombies skinned into Iron Brigade. This is the only "exclusive" Xbox One game shown so far that I'd really like to play because I love tower defense games, love more action based tower defense games and especially those in co-op. Here's hoping it comes to Steam or PS4. http://youtu.be/jYjUrHOY7A4 EDIT: apparently will also come to 360. Phew!
Uncle Dokuro
High on my must play list, but I want to point out that Pop Cap has said this is not a TD game, but a pure shooter. It basically a PvZ horded mode.
Sly Reflex
I want to play this. It's basically an altered version of Iron Brigade or Orcs Must Die. I love it when a game comes out of nowhere like this.

Hendo
Watching the Gamescom video now. You can play as the zombies, uses different classes like soldier, engineer, scientist, etc. Due out spring next year, looks like it will be a disc game. Xbox One has an exclusive mode that uses Kinect or Smartglass.

Hendo
Don't know if this is new news or not, but apparently the game is "always online" which is a bit of a bummer.
AndyKurosaki
Yeah I kind of wish they'd stop doing that.If it has single player content, which I believe this does, it should work offline.
Uncle Dokuro
I don't think always online is a big deal. It is an online shooter after all. Microtransaction for a paid retail game though is kinda shady. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/8c31A3Z_Hb4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Hendo
Really? You can see in that video that all they can do is watch the credits with no internet. It does have a single player portion - that doesn't bother you at all?
Uncle Dokuro
I could be wrong but the last time I checked the single player was just MP with bots (Like Cunter-Strike GO) and if that is the case no it does not bother me.
Uncle Dokuro
If EA Games twitter teases are anything to go by PvZ along with it microtransactions are coming to PlayStation.
Sly Reflex
I'll probably get it if it comes to PS4.
