Quiet Christmas (Xbox Indie) A Christmas themed version of the xbox indie adventure game Quiet Please! That came out in April. And I played in June. Rad Raygun (Xbox Indie) A retro styled action platformer where you play as Rad Raygun (a robot who looks like an OG gameboy) and have to save the 1980s. It has a fun gameboy style green monotone look to it, and plays well enough for 80 points. It's short but sweet, and fairly easy. I think they took the criticisms made at Uncharted and this is like a rebuttal to them. They really nail how to make a truly great AAA game; it reminds me a lot of Mass Effect 2 in that way. Mainly because I hit a wall and needed to grind several levels before I could progress. I did grind though (for about 4 hours ) and I did the last section today. Lots of bosses, so many bosses. All fairly easy as well once I hit the level I wanted. First Dragon Quest game I have finished and from what I have played in the past it seems like this one was a lot easier. Although I found the difficulty in DQ8 mainly came from the fact that unless you were playing it exactly how the makers intended it was stupidly difficult. It was good though. Story was a bit simple which I expected after playing previous games but the mechanics were strong. Lots of options for character development and battle strategies. In the end I had a fighter, healer, black mage and paladin. Made everything a breeze unless one of my characters got instadeathed by a critical hit. Probably not going to bother with the post game content, at least not for now since I have other stuff I want to play. Also, whenever I add spoiler tags to my completed games it freaks out and doesn't work properly so I have just shrunk it down. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
