Cyberpunk
I'll be getting this to add to my Need for Speed collection. 360 version this time though. We'll have to set up a race night when everyone gets it.
HandsomeDead
Those are two appealing cars, I'd probably go for that edition. But I am hating all this exclusive content shiz that's going on, it sucks. If everyone is going to get it 360 style then I will too. I'd like to play a demo before it comes out, though. Hendo
They seem to be pushing the social leaderboard thing more than they did on Paradise so it would make sense to go for the version that the most on your friends list will have. Having said that, it's not like i've got much choice.

Hendo
I'm really not sure about it. I had way more fun doing the cop mission but the handling made it feel like it was more like drunk driving. I'll say one thing - whoever designs Criterion's demos should be taken out back and shot. Paradise's demo didn't do this justice and this has a rather dodgy fault of showing the ad for the game whenever you've finished a challenge rather than just when you're quiting the demo. You're meant to be encouraged to play the challenges over and over again and the ad is really annoying after a while, I just wanted to get straight back into doing the challenge again. The non-cop challenge is more like Burnout but with something missing. It's not a day one, I'll happily wait for reviews and forum opinions. retroed
I think it's just another case of bad demo not showing off game's full potential. The full game will, hopefully, be all good. I'm keeping my £28 pre-order.
spatular
thanks for the impressions of the demo guys, was just about to try it, won't bother now!
Hendo
I wouldn't turn down a free demo! Some people on t'internet seem to like it. I'm still interested in the game, after all, the Paradise demo was guff.
HandsomeDead
I liked it, the handling was heavier than I expected, sometimes a little sluggish, not the twitch racer Burnout is but it's a satisfying drift racer. The cops and robbers stuff looks like it would be fun online. I dunno if I'll be getting it on release, money is getting low. But we'll see. Jimboxy
Not that'll interest anyone else, but the demo is also up on PSN now.
Jimboxy
hmm ok, I'm not sure what to make of it either. I think I liked it, and agree that the game is probably going to be good but the demo is a bit duff. having said that I've happily sat and played it over and over for the last hour or so. Only able to do the cop missions as I've no PSN friends. Took me a while to get the hang of the handling, couldn't get on with the Nissan at all so stuck with the Ford. Thought that it looked terrific and the presentation is top notch. Also the soundtrack is ace as well. I will be getting it still, probably not until the price drops off though. retroed
Played this a little more tonight, of the day time race. The graphics are shit compared to Burnout Paradise.

I'm still interested in the game, after all, the Paradise demo was guff. well i had a quick go (only tried the race, not interested in cop chases really), lack of rumble was offputting, like DC said the handling is pretty heavy and slow, but very arcadey at the same time, it was ok i guess. hasn't really changed my view on it at all though, as i wasn't really looking forward to it in the first place, i'll wait and see what people think to the full game and rent it if it's well liked
