    Hendo's DS Bonanza

Well, I'll give you that Centy. It has a WFC logo on it and I'm sucker for games with those logos on. Haven't tried it online yet though.

In Reviews (or HERE, if you're lazy) you'll find RayJay's short but sweet review of this weird and wonderful game. Personally I loved it at first, but it's lacking depth and vitally needs some kind of save function where you can store your music creations. Other than that, it's a step in the right direction for something to throw at people who say all games are violent and causing harm to kids and all that.

Cheers Ed! Oh, and um Open Season isn't actually that bad. A shiny penny to the first person who can guess correctly on why I would buy such a game.
  4. I don`t watch any TV, but I have just picked up the 2nd part of season 2 of Lost, so that should be good.

    Monkeyball DS

*puts hand up* I have this and thought it was really good, though I think the reviews I've read are spot on, it's above average but not as good as the first 2 on the Cube. Too right about the controls too, Ben - later levels are d-pad only unless you want to lose extremely quickly. Couldn't comment on all the mini-games cos I only had a chance to play the single card download play (which only lets you play 3 of the 6 games - boo!).

Urahara's review is up now - HERE for those too lazy to find it in the Reviews link. Doesn't sound like a 9 to me though!

Bugger, no. Will try again. *salutes*

  10. How the tables have turned, no? Anyway, I should be on the end of normal on Stamp mode, however you know I said that I passed it to the Z man to finish that puzzle? Well, after finally completing it, he wanted to do it again so instaed of "continue" he pushed "start over" not realising it was on Stamp mode, and now I'm on the end of Easy again. :pinch:
  11. Can't believe I haven't seen that one before! I keep meaning to get that DVD, love Aphex Twin and all the Cunningham vids I've seen so far. Pretty fucked up as usual.

Another Eurogamer review, this time Boundish. They don't like it much!
  13. Weird Al interviews Eminem Weird Al interviews Michael Stipe Weird Al interviews Ozzy The Saga Begins (Episode 1/American Pie parody) Angry White Boy Polka Polkarama! Scuse the bump, but I love that man.
  14. Can I steal those Wind Waker figures from you?

    Cooking Mama

Not sure I can be arsed finishing it up, though I love the fact that it really is a pick up and play game! If I even have just 1 minute spare, it's the best game to boot up and burst through a level/meal. Eurogamer review of Cooking Mama For those too lazy to click, they give it 6/10 and summed it up pretty much spot on - basically great fun, but fairly limited. Good while it lasts but for £12 you can't really go wrong.
  16. Got past that puzzle. Well, I tell a lie - I actually passed it to our favourite computer hacker and he did it. (He stalks this site still by the way, everyone wave to Z. Poor bastard won't re-register so has to read all the posts backwards. Reason enough to leave it that way, perhaps. )

I know Ed and Phooey have/had this collection of budget titles on the GBA. Anyone else? Might get me some of them. The one I'm most looking at is Dotstream, which by no real coincidence has just been reviewed on my favourite European website aimed at gamers. They like it.

    Q-unit

I thought those were aces! Good find, picks! Shame that half worked though, and half didn't. (As in, half didn't play anthing at all)
  19. Well I think you'll just feel right at home here dude.

  21. God damn it, I'm stuck on the last level of Easy Stamp Mode - Escape. There's no FAQ up yet, and Chinzon is on holiday. I wouldn't mind but I actually finished that one before, but can't work out how to do it. It's one of those slidey puzzles, have to get the big bastard out of the exit on the right. Anyone help?

Right. I appear to have stopped dead at 59 meals. Is it to do with the medals? Some I have are bronze, most are silver, some are gold.

    Nintendo DS Browser

Well I've faffed around with it a little more and I'm starting to get used to the controls and stuff, but it's still horrendously slow. I know in various reviews it lamented the 'no flash' thing, which I can see as being a problem as you're paying for a browser (how bizarre is that concept?), but I could handle that as long as the speed was upto scratch. Which it isn't. As advice to Oli, I'd say buy it if you've got the cash spare and you think you might get some use out of it, and like me, you're curious to what it's like. However, be warned of the flaws. Ura, on the other hand, don't bother, you'll get no use out of it, and besides you're a student with little free cash. Let's put it this way, I'd be disappointed if it was free.
  24. Just need to find out which games are 8 player though. We've never ever EVER had 8 people all lined up at once to play a game, but maybe this will change? Hope so.

    Nintendo DS Browser

Oliath wrote: Exactly Oli. It's sole purpose is web browsing and as yet I haven't seen it do it properly. If it was free, you'd demand an update, but for £30 you're taking the piss. I'm keeping it though for several reasons. Firstly, on a moral ground I'd feel bad taking it back when I knew it was gonna be crap beofre I bought it. Secondly, after losing my gaming collection through the years by trading and selling when I needed the cash, now I don't need the cash (though I'm sure not rich) so I'm keeping as much as I can. Thirdly, it's a gaming oddity, isn't it? Could be rare in the future, especially if they re-release it as a decent version.
