Nah, I see that when I listen to music these days anyway.

Nom nom nom, fanboy food, nom nom. So, Squenix, do you find the internets reactions funny, too?

I'm done, finished this earlier today. It was fantastic. The turn based combat is brilliant, I'm amazed they can still throw in surprising attack patterns even though its the third game in the series. the story is ridiculous and is entertaining because of its characters that rarely fail to amuse. The only downside for the whole thing is that adrenaline mini-game, most of them you only did once or twice but you had to do that one more often than it was welcome (maybe five times, I hated doing it). I really enjoyed it, I wouldn't mind going through the others one day. I finished the last DS one but I can't remember a thing about it and I got stuck near the end of the original on the GBA. I think this one has made the most impact, I'd enjoyed it as much as Thousand Year Door.

Monday won't quite be the same.

That reminds me, must get Bad Company 2 ordered. I think I'll have games coming out of my ears come January. Ones I pre-ordered all by myself are; Bayonetta Mass Effect 2 Alpha Protocol (not 'til March I think) So far for xmas; Batman: AA >>MW2<< And I've found out I'm getting DJ Hero for my birthday. Nice. I'm still waiting for Muramasa, too. It really is proving to be a bitch to get hold of.

I don't like Radiohead that much either, don't worry. I was doing some Xmas shopping today with folks and in the car journey I heard music. Not sure what it was, I think it was Alexandra Burke but it might not of been, it was very hard to tell, felt like I'd heard it all before without ever hearing it, or even wanting to hear it. Also heard some Westlife, it used that piano riff that Journey and everyone else uses, someone from here posted a vid that reminded me of it. Today wasn't very inspirational, I hate non-inspirational days, they can suck my cock.

Never mind. I happen to know that the guy that is doing the list only played the first Halo a few months back, he thought it was alright, I suppose not quite enough for it to be top 50. To be honest thats what I think of Shadow of the Colossus. Seeing Vakyrie Chronicles up there makes me feel such a tit for not getting into it, I really, really want to like it but it just isn't happening.

Seems okay to me so far, then again I I've never played Banjo-Tooie. Not played much more that 20 mins of Kingdom Hearts, too. All the games listed that I've played are great games, I guess I'd have K.o.t.O.R and Psychonauts alot higher. I predict Portal will be numero uno.

Firstly, Mario & Luigi: BIS, nearly finished it, I thought I would have by now but alas no. What I did finish though was LittleBIGPlanet on t'PSP. I enjoyed it overall, sometimes frustrating, sometimes shows some new ideas. If you want more LBP then its hard to go wrong with it. You could say its just a big level pack and I don't think you'd be far wrong. Some of the music was great though, I think you'll be getting some of that. I'm still catching the odd game of L4D2 and I can definitely say I am getting into much more than the first, thankfully. I was worried it would end up on the shelf. Since I have played it quite a bit I'm putting it here, 1 vs 100, the second season is here and I've played it a bit. The questions are better, you don't get those painfully simple ones as much so it does work a bit better as a light brain teaser now. But then quizes are great so how could you not like it? Lastly, been playing loads of Jak II... the same fucking bits over and over and over again, it was games like this that put me off open world games and just shows that even the crapper current examples have come some way. Its such an annoying game because you play a certain bit and your thinking "yes, this is good, more of this" but then you have to do a load of driving missions in the over-world that are harsh and there are no fucking checkpoints. I've done 8 hours and showing 50% complete but I'm on a racing mission and I don't think I have it in me to go through it, Jak II has broken me. Definitely lastly, because of Jak II I started a game of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune on hard, dunno why but I'm quite enjoying despite the difficulty because it has fucking checkpoints! EDIT: Just one more thing actually. A mate brought LEGO Rock Band round, played that for a bit at the weekend and I don't know what I think of it. Its cute and funny and all and as much as appreciate what its doing the office party-ness of the setlist stopped it from being as enjoyable as I find the regular editions. I was going to rip the disc but there isn't anything I'm missing now its gone.

Bearded man is real bearded man.

I dunno if it will topple the CoD series but you could say when games really try to be better then one another we are only the real winners. I think it would be a bad idea to release them head to head, though. For the record I love the beard, it takes a monumental piss over Price's stash. MoH > MW2 already.

Lately I've successfully not bought every big game that came out out so I might keep that up for the rest of next year, it doesn't feel that bad not playing something everyone is talking about because there is always something else. I'd like to complete games more regularly but I don't mind my keeping five games going at the same time thing, you might not get it finished for ages, if at all but it keeps things varied.

I'm surprised they didn't use it for Mirrors Edge, why would they use Unreal 3 when they have their own engine?
-
Isn't the baseball bat already in it?

Its fine, its been an emotional day. You just lost your 360.
-
I wish I could act surprised. If its the first time it RRoD'd out of warranty then that is mighty impressive as sad as it sounds.
-
I don't get disconnected, just lag like fuck half of the time. Other online games I do alright, though.

There are 16 digits in those codes without dashes and such. I've looked about and it seems you input the codes in-game, I just planned to get them now for when I do get round to getting it, oh well.
-
Where do get them? The redeem codes bit on PSN has space for 12 digits.
-
I had a few goes at disarming the bombs but I couldn't see how you could do it and give up. I'm on a the mission where you have to destroy 5 cruisers. Its a bitch, I either die or run out of ammo.

This is why you should post in the gaming week thread, bud. How was Shenmue II?
-
Ubisoft have gone all shit this gen, I loved their games last gen. The next Splinter Cell game looks great but I'll have to wait and see about this. This gens PoP had the ghost of Ass Creed about it so I didn't try it. Hopefully they will start again with this one.

This just proves how far behind I was. My first 3D game was on the PlayStation, a game called Lone Soldier, I think it would be 1996. It was shit in hindsight but it was my first flirt with 3D so shut it. A few weeks later I would play Crash Bandicoot which is good now, well I think. Amazing box art.

Thats exactly like me and Badger on Jak II.

I think Nas has name checked him, or someone. So of course we know who he is. Edit: There was a question. Where did you get that version of the Soul Blade intro? because I just sent you a youtube clip of the intro itself and what you played wasn't that, it was better so I'm not complaining, just curious.
