DisturbedSwan
Developer: Insomniac Games Publisher: SCEA Platform: PS4 Release Date: April 12th 2016 (NA), April 22nd 2016 (EU) Can't believe we haven't got a thread for this already really, this is a complete remake/reboot based on the original game but with plot elements and environs changed to be narratively similar to the upcoming Sony CGI Film. Reviews came out today and it's currently sitting at an 86% average from 40 Critic reviews on Metacritic: http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/ratchet-clank And a 87% average from 26 Critic reviews on OpenCritic: http://opencritic.com/game/2048/ratchet-clank Never really played any of the original games (save for a 30 minute demo in OPS2M years ago which I didn't enjoy) so have been looking forward to this and have had it pre-ordered for a while, nice to see it getting some great review scores, anyone else picking it up? DANGERMAN
I didn't realise it was out so soon until I say a thread on Saturday. I'm sort of tempted, wouldn't mind something colourful and mindless
DisturbedSwan
Yeah I thought that too, been a while since I played a platformer. Just wanted something fun, mindless and colourful to get stuck into in-between the more serious games coming out, it's not a full priced game either (£28 on Amazon, £26 on SimplyGames) which made the decision easier for me. Whiskey_chaser
Bought this on impulse to keep the kids occupied on Saturday, and it's great (also great that they have no interest in playing it - just watching me play :D). Never played a R&C game before, but really enjoying my time with this. Makes a nice change from the constant creeping dread from Dark Souls at least!
