About time we had a thread for this I think. Eurogamer have a story that Rage is going to be a 22gig install on the 360, but if you want it to run as smooth as possible on 360 and ps3 then that's the way to go.

"On the 360 we don't have a partial install option," he said. "It's all or nothing, which is kind of unfortunate. It means you have to install 21/22GB of stuff which takes a long time but if you've got it and you play it on the 360 that's the way to go."

My housemate doesn't think it looks good enough to be 22gigs over multiple discs

I'll be honest until today I hadn't seen much of the gameplay itself, it looks like Borderlands meets Bioshock, certainly more interesting than Doom 3 and Quake 4

L.A. Noire is 20GB, before the DLC.

I've not really seen much of Rage either. The trailer looks good though, a bit like Fallout 3 but with proper shooting.

So me with my old fashioned 20gb xbox won't be able to play this game very well? That kinda sucks

Though L.A. Noire plays fine so i should be ok.

With L.A. Noire you don't have to have all three discs installed at the same time. With Rage, though, it looks like you'll have to have it all installed before you can play.

I think this is a first for 360.

I think this is a first for 360.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was the first of many with the way things are progressing. DVD just can't cut it for storage anymore, not with all the sound, high-quality textures, and other content they pack into games now.

I think with LA Noire you had to swap discs, it would be good though if you could leave one in the tray.

Other than downloading the iPhone version, not bothered keeping an eye on this. Just watched the first two vids and the last one, I think I'm pretty much in on this one.

I can see lots of elements of Bioshock and Borderlands and it looks like how I wanted Fallout to play.

Also I hear lots of Nolan North so it would be rude not to.

i have a feeling this is going to be my game of the year.

it looks fantastic with a great mix of gameplay, i dont see how it can fail;

doom + fallout = win.

borderlands + fallout = win.

any combination of the above = win, even metro 2033 + fallout = win.
