illdog
So the latest version of itunes seems to fuck up ipods. It cant sync the ipod anymore, it always says Itunes was looking for a file and found a folder instead. What the hell does that mean? A little research on tinternet suggests its a Windows 7 problem. Anyone heard of this/had it? Its fucked up both the misses's and mine now. Not too happy.

Pikman
Same here, I moved to Win 7 a I was struggling with an unpatched version of XP (don't ask) and it has been totally fine ever since. With iPhone 3GS and 4 running off the same account, all good. Gotta be a re-install I reckon also.

Hendo
I'd say the worst that will happen is that you'll have to re-point iTunes towards your music folder but the folder and files themselves shouldn't be deleted. When you re-install iTunes check to see if the songs are listed and will play if you double-click on them - if not go to File > Add Folder To Library and find the folder that has everything in it and give it some time, depending on how much is there. illdog
That worked, nice one. Wasnt as straight forward as it should be but after re-installation and a little twangleing it all works again. I hate computers.
