David
I was just introduced to this great program over on GamesTM. I was told you needed an invite, but you can go straight to the download/sign up page here. https://www.spotify.com/en/get-started/ It's basically like iTunes, but it streams songs legally for free. There's ads that play like a radio station, but only after a good number of songs. There's a great choice, and loading the songs is instant. Seriously, it's great! Hendo
Wasn't very happy that I had to input a postcode or birthday to register but a bit of lying got me through. Downloading and installing now, me username is Hendo, just for a change. *EDIT* Seems a lot like Last.fm - not that it's a bad thing but I haven't used streaming on Last.fm in ages. Not sure how much I'll use this but always worth a try to get some new music.
David
I use last.fm too. It's good, but this isn't browser based and is lightning fast at times.

retroed
The music streaming service Spotify has been targeted by hackers. The Swedish company says people's personal details, including e-mail addresses, dates of birth and billing addresses, were all stolen. However, it is thought credit-card details, which were handled by a third party, have remained secure. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7925455.stm
Hendo
Anyone know if you can buy a premium account from a shop? Want to pay for the other half but don't want to put my card details in.
Uncle Dokuro
Anyone know if you can buy a premium account from a shop? Want to pay for the other half but don't want to put my card details in. No, you can buy e-gift cards from Spotify, but they don't sell pre-paid cards in retail stores. You can pay your month sub fee with your Pay Pal though. Jimboxy
I've seen spotify cards in Sainsburys and Tescos. Normally with the iTunes cards.
