  1. My copy arrived on Saturday & I'm just waiting for the right time to sit down & play it. I want to be somewhere nice & warm & comfy & quite so I can soak the atmosphere up like a sponge. EDIT Free puzzles are now available for download.
  2. A huge bump for this one as the demo appeared on the Euro PSN last week. And I'm in love already. Absolutely. Everything that I love about the PSP version appears to be there & playing it on a big TV is wonderful. Roll on 28 March.

I'll give Joypod & Sarcastic Gamer a go, although I have a huge backlog of podcasts & I think there's going to be a few extra this week from 1up.

    Endless Ocean

Sort of finished this last week, ie I saw the end credits, although I still have dozens of fish to find. Definitely a great game to relax to & highly recommended especially at sub £20.

I've really been enjoying OLL recently & it was quite a shock to hear that they're moving to Eurogamer for the rest of the current season. The presenters do make me smile & I just love the reviews by Tahlia.
  7. Play WordJong Neves The Orange Box Patapon demo Want Patapon Lots of Japanese puzzlers Burnout Paradise Little Big Planet Bin Nothing gaming wise
  8. Replay doesn't matter a jot to me as I've got so many games that I want to play, so I'm not going to go through a game for a second time. That's not saying that I don't want to, it's just that there's so much stuff out there that I want to experience.
  9. I was looking forward to that Agatha Christie game in a strange sort of way. Oh well, more money saved.

  11. Some good scores there & therefore an expensive month.
  12. Wow, out of all those games reviewed there isn't a single one that I'm interested in. And they're starting to piss me off with all the shite/tat that they're giving away, sorry, that we're paying for each month. And another shitty tips book? Sorry NGamer, but you can f*** right off. And Greener's leaving? Do I smell the downfall of a good magazine? I bloody hope not. EDIT Sorry for being angry in your thread Ed but my IBS is bad today & I'm in a awful mood.
  13. It's going to sound lame, but I don't really mind at all if the name changes or stays the same. As long as I have some good chats here & there with the people that I know then I'm happy. This is the only forum that I visit where I can chat about podcasts with like minded people (Ed & Hendo especially) so that's enough right there to keep me coming back. There is a lot of 360 talk & I do sometimes feel left out especially as I have a PS3, but then I head over to NTSC-uk for some PS3 discussion. To be honest, I can't see my Wii being used that much, so I'm not too fussed about less Wii chat. I do seem to post here less & less though & I don't really know why. Maybe it's because I'm really getting into my PS3 stuff & therefore I hang out more at NTSC-uk with other PS3 users.

Don't think that I've listened to Evil Avatar before so I'll give that a quick go & I listen to One Life Left occasionally. I've just found another podcast (via a post on the Retro Gamer Magazine forums) called Retroforcego & I'm just downloading the latest episode now to see what it's like. Oh & there's a new Retronauts episode now out... With Street Fighter IV hype building, we get together for one last podcast for the year. Fisticuff experts James Mielke, Greg Ford, Ryan Scott and Richard Li join Jeremy Parish to talk about twenty years of fighting in the streets. I'm not a fan of fighting games, so I might give this one a miss.

    New TV

Nice. What's the recommended way of cleaning our fancy lcd tv screens? Special cloths or a spot of Mr Sheen.
  16. I know that mate. There are numerous faults with Sony/PS3 & I'm certainly not going to stand on my soap box & lecture everyone on how wonderful they are. Because they're not. But so far, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. If I'd been a 360 owner since day one, I wouldn't have bought a PS3 yet, but I'm not, so I'm now in bed with Sony.
  17. I can see that if a person owns a 360, there's probably little incentive to warrant a PS3 purchase at the moment. However, I don't own a 360 & have mainly been a handheld gamer for the last 12 months, so my PS3 is getting lots of use. In fact it gets used every day.

I'm really glad he's back as I love his shows. He's moved house hasn't he, so fingers crossed his shows will now be more regular. What did everyone think about the latest episode of DSR & their awards? I quite enjoyed the show, but they talked over each other all the time (no fault of their own - time differences etc), but I suppose I'm spoiled with the 1up crew all being in the same room.
  21. If it was me (& I had enough cash), I'd buy a few extra things, but still try to get a DS. You might just get lucky.
  22. I downloaded my first VC game today. Chew Man Fu! Classic stuff.
