Well this one is pretty much a 2D Zelda in essence isnt it? Yeah okay it uses polygons and everythings modelled in 3D, but the sailing on the boat is the only thing thats actually 3D in the sense that you can move the camera around.

That doesnt look to bad for a C64 game, although thats NOTHING like the Bionic Commando i had on the NES, If it comes out on the VC, get it... unless you can find another way of playing it sooner...

I was slightly tempted by Castlevania II, but i havent even got Super Castlevania yet... only cos these are the more traditional Castlevania games - before they started adding daft names at the end like 'Dawn of Sorrow' or the next one - 'Concerto of misery'

In the latest issue of N*Revolution there is a small article about an online petition to Capcom, willing them to consider bringing Resident Evil 5 to the Wii, i know these things dont normally happen - Hell I once signed an online petition to bring Final Fantasy VII to the DS But we can but hope. Link If anybody's intereseted in signing it.

Thats strange cos my router's a Belkin ADSL2+ one, and the Firewall on it is ment to be teh r0XXoRz as when i ran one of them sites that pretend to haX0rZ your computer by testing the ports it said my PC didnt even exist! Yeah um anyway my Wii and DS have no trouble connecting through it whatsoever... hmmm

Ive preordered mine from shopto.net Ive ordered quite a few things from them, but ive only pre-ordered two things - Forza 2 which did come a day before release, and Bioshock which arrived the monday after release... but that was probably due to high demand. Ive never preordered from Play, but a mate in work has done so a few times and i dont think he's ever got anything the day before release...

After watching the Street Fighter IV video that TopGunKnacker posted i stumbled across this, a next gen version of the NES and Game Boy classic - Bionic Commando! Capcom are reviving all sorts this year aint they? I'm in two minds about how the game looks at the moment, it could turn out to be a really good game, but it also looks like it could fall into the trap of being a crappy tomb raider style clone. On a lighter note, it does look quite buzzing, and it even has the music from the original Bionic Commando! :laugh:

Ive only had a quick go on the demo of Sega Rally, and i must say i didnt think too much of it. I loved the first one like a cute puppy, but this one didnt grab me. I think it was the over exaggerated power slides where your car ends up pretty much facing backwards before you start turning Maybe ill have to give it more of a chance because i do want to like this game

This little baby is a great game, its even keeping me off Enemy Territory: Quake Wars! The beutey of the Metroid games is that you feel so vunerable in the beginning of the game, but you kit yourself up with various upgrades untill your one triple hard bastard! Ahh, i can remember leaving the title screen demo play as a kid (accidentially, was doing something) and seeing the grappling hook beam thing and i just thought "Oh my GOD!!"

Nintendo, this man needs an external Hard Drive, stat!!!

Double post extravaganza! Downloaded Super Metroid... Its quite strange that it seems you HAVE to have either french or german subtitles on for the story bits, but i guess that isnt a major thing :whistle: The game holds up really well, plays great, maybe a little clunky if youve got the GBA Metroids. Nothing stops this from being the definitive Metroid title though :cheer: Get it now, and appreciate the good lords finest work!

Ive had some post the last two days, but no zelda. Apparently most posties are working again except for the main sorting office in Liverpool - who are now on an official strike. Fecking Royal Mail. I'd have my copy now as well if they werent such a bunch of lazy bastards. Metroid 3 will be a definite purchase for me, and GOTM is gonna be a hard decision. Although even if Metroid blows Zelda out the water (haw haw!) i can see the majority of people voting for zelda as metroids out too close to the end of the month... and Hendo why buy Halo 3 and not Prime 3?!

Yeah but remember what happened last time Hendo? SoR3 will probably be out on Live soon
