DisturbedSwan
He’s just speaking from his personal experience of his store there @Sly Reflex I remember amongst my friend group last gen everyone had 360s, then when I started working at the cinema 25 minutes away everyone I worked with had PS3’s. Obviously in his store in Somerset it’s PlayStation Country.
retroed
It was going to happen anyway, I don't think it has much to do with the Xbox Game Pass. Nintendo Life ran a story on the retailer this week, and another Last month where they put the blame on larger retailers such as amazon, and that a lot are swapping physical games in favour of digital purchases. They deal a lot in retro games.

DisturbedSwan
Always a shame to see independent stores closing down, but seems it was pure hyperbole from them in the January Eurogamer article. I have actually changed my mind on Game Pass since playing Sea of Thieves. I still don’t think it’ll sell consoles exactly but for folks that already own Xboxes it’s a fantastic value proposition.
