HandsomeDead
So I've just finished a run of this with the Super Turbo Championship Edition extra content and I did enjoy going through it again. It's just a satisfying brawler with some good level based puzzles in it. It is a cool game; at least the game parts are. New content-wise you have two extra areas. One is a town that nods towards your ghost lady luchador companion's history and a new 'dungeon' that has a new enemy boss character. Both areas are pretty expansive and are full of their own secrets. You also have new mechanic where you beat things up, charge up a bar, and then press in both sticks to become faster and more powerful for a bit. I'm a cool kid whose good at video games so I felt it wasn't needed. Some of you not so cool kids might need it, though.
DANGERMAN
I've played through this the past week and really enjoyed it. I'm not sure I'm ready to jump in to the sequel any time soon but it's very good. Not stupidly long either I did have a few issues with it. There were a couple of times I thought maybe I was going the wrong way because what was being asked of me seemed so much of a step up than went before. The platforming mainly, combat I didn't have huge problems with, but there's a dexterity required to the platforming at times that felt like it was late game stuff The combat also has its issues mind you. I found that occasionally (too often really) directional inputs would get confused. So instead of uppercutting an enemy to continue a combo I'd be locked in place and end the chain. The most egregious example was when fighting colour matched enemies, the yellow attack would still be reading a direction so would throw out the blue. I'd even get instances of attacking backwards too Aside from that, no complaints at all, good game
