Making an animated gif

I would like to make myself an animated gif avatar, but lack the skills or knowledge.

I've got a swf file clip, but it needs editing down and also converting into a gif. Anyone know how to do it or what program I should be using?

Try Easy GIF Animator, you should be able to get it for free. Or I could lend you the disc that I have.

you fucking pirate. Thanks, I've downloaded the 20 use trial version, cant really see me using it that much and if I do I should know my way around enough to work a shareware one by then (hopefully)
