Gamecube edition, part one

You might be interested in reading it, some good choices so far. Only part one mind, but I do hope she includes Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, as if there's any brilliant Cube game that's overlooked, it has to be that one.

Some calls for PN.03 in the comments section too.

It reminds me that:

A. I need to pick Chibi-Robo back up.

B. I never took a chance on Billy Hatcher.

C. That article and wiivo both remind me to at least take Battalion Wars out of the cupboard.

D. I love the Cube so much, I bought it twice.

Amen, awsome stuff and makes you a sweaty mess.

A. I need to pick Chibi-Robo back up.

Yes you do. *wags finger, scratches balls*

B. I never took a chance on Billy Hatcher.

I did but never played it

D. I love the Cube so much, I bought it twice.

I bought it thrice. TOP TRUMP.

EDIT: How the fuck did i miss Cubivore on that list?? Am i the only one on this site who played and loved that fucker? (it was NTSC only) Top shout Eurogamer ho.

Thats a no no, u rly wudnt wna be pickin tht up,

PN.03 is great. A simple evassive based shooter with added arse wiggling. It's repetative but it only lasts a few hours, it's a great way to kill an evening or two.

Yeah, I was going to reply that I loved P.N.03 but that's not true. I did really like it, it's not perfect, but it's a type of game I hadn't been around for a few years

Yeah I was gonna post that after the Cube ones have finished.

Which brings us to part two.

Looks like it will be finished tomorrow and she's hinted at two other games to be included (Pacman vs. and Four Swords Adventures) so it's already looking like a definitive list of overlooked Cube games - except maybe F-Zero GX. Surely that's not overlooked?

Either way, she answered my prayers and told the world how brilliant Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is (with bongos, not so fantastic with just a pad).

I think the magazine she refers to is GTM as that's where she worked before joining Eurogamer.

Part 3 is done.

I can narrow down the games I need to put in my Cube collection to:

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

Doshin the Giant

Ribbit King

Eternal Darkness (used to own it, completed it 3 times through too)

Geist

Odama

P.N.03

Looking at the xbox article, I need to grab the following:

Psychonauts

Panzer Dragoon Orta

Fahrenheit

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee

Freedom Fighters (I'm sure I had it on the PC though)

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (I had this and it was brilliant!)

Project Zero: The Director's Cut

Who needs new systems when there's so much you missed out on?!
