So far this is PS2 exclusive, but if it gets brought over to the Wii as well I reckon we could move it over?

Anyway the final tracklist has been revealed...

* Play With Me (as made famous by Extreme)

* Shaken (as made famous by Eddie Money)

* Synchronicity II (as made famous by The Police)

When it was announced I was pretty excited, but now it looks like poo. Sorry, but eighties rock was largely rubbish. Well the big hair shit was, but at least do some classic tracks!

There's a handfful of tracks I like (Police Truck for one) but where's The Smiths and The Cure?

I thought it was called Guitar Hero, not Rock Hero.

Fucking Extreme?!

Ive only heard of turing Japanese from that list. I would like some smiths, cure, joy division/new order, echo and the bunnymen, the jam/weller, that kind of music would be awesome. Maybe they told the publishers where they could go...

When the game was first announced this is the exact sort of stuff I was expecting, it just sums up 80's music for me. A shame because there was some good stuff, but I never heard it when I was growing up.

That's very true, but this is a comment from Eurogamer that sums it up for me.

"No Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Big Country, Pink Floyd ... which 80s is this they talk about?"

The Guitar Hero games seem to have a got a scheme now where they surprise you with their track choices and "intentionally don't go for the big hits". They could be telling the truth or it could be money-related, but either way this is no sale for me.

At first when I heard about it, I was excited too. I'm a huge GH fan, got the 2 first games already and two guitars, and so I was planning on getting this one as well.

But I think I'll wait till I can play with it first before buying it. I might end up not buying it though.

The one's in bold are the only tracks I've heard on there. I might have heard others and not recognised the names. I'm with Hendo on this, I'm a massive GH fan but this just stinks of trying to stay underground with a popular entertainment piece. They should know by now who their market is, and this isn't going to attract anyone but the most 80's metal of 80's metallers. The only saving grace I can see is Dead Kennedys, and it's not even one of their better tracks.

They'd do better sticking to the random assortment of tracks that have seen their other games do so well. I was well chuffed when I saw Primus and Janes Addiction on GH2 (Especially as it was the actual songs too), but there's nothing on here that screams PLAY ME!

Bad news.
