Hell TGK, you don't hang about! I haven't had chance to play it today as of yet. I've been keeping the dog quiet as Karen's in bed sleeping (working nights), then I went to see my mum for a bit. I'll be playing this later on, though!

I've played this for about three hours now, and I've just got my tenth star. Everything about this game is perfect to me. I want to keep playing but am going to hold off until tomorrow! Super Mario Galaxy is fantastic, I am in awe at just how great it is. I'm grinning from ear to ear just thinking about it! It is everything I was hoping for and a darn sight more. It looks bloody beautiful, too. So far, I cannot find fault with this. It is worth owning a Wii just for this game. What an amazing year for gamers 2007 has been.

Right, I've just plugged my RGB Scart into the TV with the Wii. You cannot change the Wii settings to 480p, that is only supported by component. Also, when using the RGB Scart on this TV using the 60Hz (480i) setting, the picture is very off-centre, it's a fair way to the left with a black border on the right. This can be fixed somewhat by altering the screen position in the Wii settings, but it still doesn't go far enough. I can get the picture totally central with no black borders by selecting the 50Hz (576i) option, however. It looks like you're going to need a component cable to get the best picture really, Hendo.

I finished it earlier, and now I see what all the fuss is about over this game. It's just so damn cute and enjoyable to play. Excellent stuff.

I enjoyed this weeks show, but agree that Garnett needs to just keep his mouth shut at times. Shane and John are still my faves.

I'll try my RGB Scart tonight after I get home from work, I would have a look now, but am about to leave! I seem to remember the display looking ok though, no borders anyway. I'll have a fiddle later though and note down the settings I am using.

I've played with the settings and I've managed to get it looking quite good now. Setting the 'colour temp' in the TV menu to 'Cool' has helped. I've even changed the Wii settings back to 480p.

Fantastic! You'll be impressed with the picture it gives of the 360, I reckon. And just in time for Super Mario Galaxy, too!

Thanks to Hendo purchasing some Gamecube wares from me, I had some paypal fundage to splash out on a copy of The Orange Box. I've blagged a sealed region free version for £25 delivered. I can't wait to play Portal! The rest of it will have to wait, I just have too many games to play. Damn all these good games.

Awesome! Bumper cam rules for racing games in my opinion, although with Sega Rally I find myself using the bonnet cam all the time. Glad you're getting it though, I'll have to get back into it and have some races soon.

I've just finished the 7th level, that was pretty epic! *Spoiler*I was an absolute idiot just before the twin scarab fight, and shot both of the hornets down with my tank as I thought they were enemies! And as is my luck, I hit a checkpoint seconds after doing so. After ages trying to work out a strategy I finally managed to destroy both of the scarabs by getting underneath them, taking their legs out using one of the enemies vehicles, and then jumping on. Took me a while, though!**

Yeah I listened to the latest 1upyours today, it was great! Seanbaby is an absolute legend. I also listened to the Mario Retronauts. That was great, too!

I played more of the single player campaign tonight, and am now at the beginning of the 7th level! I don't think I've really used any grenades at all thus far. I should have the campaign cleared up sometime this week, then I may have a few games of multi to see how crap I am compared to everyone else.
