Hendo

For me it's a 7 tops. Here's the flaws for those who haven't played this (otherwise) smart little game. The graphics are sub-SNES style, you wouldn't think this would be such a big deal as it should make the game run smoother but far from it, the single player has masses of slow-down (and not just in battle either!). Online the lag is unbelievable. The story is made up of hilariously bad dialogue with (more or less) static shots. However, the story opens itself up right at the end, the gameplay gets more fun near the end and there's more to do near the end. You just have to get past the first few hours!

Well, I don't care if I double, triple or even quadruple post here, but I'm gonna use this here space to update on how I've been getting on. Currently I'm level 50, and I have at least 4 sets of mosters at level 50 too. I really don't want to finish the game! I'm having a load of fun levelling up my monsters, experimenting with mixing new spells and getting my stats up, which I'll post more detail on in the morning. A few questions about stats in the morning too. Anyway, as I've said, this game is brilliant fun, just a shame that the flaws may make people over-look it.

My copy has been shipped apparently, though when it'll turn up is anybody's guess.

Well a dude in Gamestation told me that if I contacted Nintendo direct they might be able to send me a set of instructions and a cover. I keep nearly buying another copy but that would be a waste wouldn't it? Oh and I think I'm gonna buy the soft Hori case. Also need to take new pics of those games with an infocus camera (and add Star Wars).

Nothing wrong with his first album, though I've heard the new one is good but a bit weird (more of a grower). And Sugababes rule, girlfriend. Honestly, if I wasn't such a dapper and polite young man, I'd bum you into next week for that statement. :kiss:

Haven't played this in a couple of weeks, but I've loved it! I've had more fun with the time trials than the actual game though, it's cool finding out what all the things you can unlock are.

It's not online, dude! Otherwise I'd love to. Oh, and that review is spot on - it's bugged to hell and clearly unfinished. They obviously had to rush it to coincide with the new "before they were fucked with" versions of Star Wars DVD's.

So ill, how you getting on? When I was browsing Movietyme, I saw this and remembered that this thread was in the old build of the site, and realised you haven't mentioned it for a while. Is it shit then?

Well Ed, I bought it for 2 reasons (other than it being Star Wars in lego) - I seem to have an addiction to buying DS games and will they pull off a DS version? It works but does have bugs and would be more suited to a proper home console. I'm not gonna get rid of it but will be buying the Cube version. I think you're like me, so buy it cheapish.

No surprise that you love WoW - that game is so geeky! It's a RPG, casting spells and shit. Bloody simplistic but actually quite good fun. If not Goldeneye or the original Sonic on teh Megadrive, I'd guess mine would be Wizball. A fantastic and original game on the C64 that I have still seen nothing like.

Read that review that Phil put up and that's pretty much the gospel from what I've seen. The camera isn't great, and it doesn't look as good as other versions (as you'd expect really). Buy on DS if you only have a DS (unlikely, I know). I'm gonna keep it and carry on playing as it is fun, but might buy the Cube or PSP version when they come out to get the full stunning effect. Oh, and the touch screen is used well, not over the top, just used as you'd expect - choosing your character and stuff.

Well as usual we had mountains of feedback to wade through *cough*, but thanks to Chin, the FAQ page is up on main menu. Again, any feedback would be super-great.

Well yesterday I went to town and I found that the Cube and PSP versions aren't out yet, but the Euro version was taunting me from the shelves. Today, however, it turned up! Hooray! Gonna have a quick blast then gotta go to band practice.
