Fucking hurry up with some DLC so I have something to play for!

you can delete those 2 lvl 1 zero's for starters. looks messy.

as suspected, those fucking stalkers are hateful on tvhm.

I can't delete those Zer0's, they are mules.

Also, use the Thunderball Fists. They fuck up stalkers so bad that they spend more time running away than attacking.

EDIT: Hot fixes.

Borderlands 2 Hot Fixes

February 12, 2013

  • Mechromancer's Prodigy class mod now correctly increases reload speed.
  • Seraph Gear from Captain Scarlett and Mr. Torgue DLC re-balanced to be more powerful.
  • Sir Hammerlock DLC: Arizona no longer refuses to spawn if players are too far away.

They really need to buff the Seraph stuff up, for the amount of work you have to do to claim items the quality of them should be spectacular, not spectacularly shit.

PIss easy. Obviously you need to be level 5 to grab them all apart from the Gunzerkers where you have to be level 30 odd. Once you get to that level you can gunzerk for ages in certain areas. I think at the end of Pirates Booty just before the Vault I did a gunzerk that lasted a good 3 or 4 minutes. I've seen people gunzerk for longer than that. You need to be really aggressive which I feel flies in the face of a lot of people who play solo.

do you know there's some new shift codes up? It's some valentines promotion, mostly you're just getting new skins I think, but you also get a new version of Moxxi's shotgun (capped to whatever level the first character you boot the game up with is at after entering the code)

Using them is a gamble, as you're never sure what you'll see come out of the chest. When you're really struggling to kill stuff quickly without weapons several levels below you and there's absolutely no way to get better loot, ding and then instantly use keys at that point.

I don't know what class you are using or if you are playing multiplayer but these are the tips I'd give players new to the game.

Don't go back a rarity on class mods unless it happens to follow a class tree you are spending points in over one you are not. You can live with the stat hit until you find a better one, but you cannot live with losing those skill points. If that means the other people you are playing with might miss out on team skills, then so be it.

Disregard certain manufacturers arms. Hyperion sniper rifles and most pistols and Jakobs shotguns are shite.

Always give everything else the once over, even if it happens to be white. I've opened chests and the white weapons have been better than greens. In general Maliwan and Tediore weapons offer the best overall experience at a reduced damage rate, Torgue have some kickass shotguns and rifles. Jakobs do nice pistols, rifles and snipers. SMG's and shotguns are the domain of Hyperion and Bandit. Vladof guns are awesome, but use a lot of ammo, don't rely on them unless you know you can keep the guns fed. Dahl stuff is reliable but a bit meh in general.

Elementals can save you a lot of time. Slag and electric guns will serve you well. There are very few enemies in the game that match those resistances.

If you get downed, fire one bullet from a Tediore weapon and then throw it at an enemy. Vladof sniper rifles also provide a solid way to get back on your feet. Don't reload, swap weapons. Don't use E-tech weapons when you are down unless you are certain you can get up instantly, as the projectiles have delayed timers on them.

If it looks like you are going to go down, throw a grenade or use a skill like Deathtrap or the turret. This increases your chances of getting back up. If you get up in the middle of a bad place you should always take these steps if you are able to.

Carry 2 or 3 grenade mods with you. Slag and electric ones are the best. Bouncing betties allow you to fight among the explosions without getting hurt. If you find a good slag bouncing betty, cherish it. Singularity and AoE mods can help you crowd control when you start getting overrun. If you are playing multi, do not equip the same element as a friend unless it is explosive. MIRVS will allow you to soften up a lot of targets at once.

Check the vending machines, especially the shield ones. Even the crappy whites can be better than your under levelled stuff. Avoid amp shields that drain, they are pointless.

I wonder if this will come with a level cap increase also? I cannot wait to play online and have every single person using the new class like when the Mechromancer came out.

Oddly no news on the last DLC from the season pass. Hopefully they drop at the same time. It'd be pretty shitty if they gave us a new class and give us nothing new to play on.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-03-24-borderlands-2-new-character-krieg-the-psycho-level-cap-increase-ultimate-vault-hunter-mode

Gearbox Software has announced the sixth playable character for Borderlands 2.

Krieg the Psycho is a reformed bandit who specialises in melee attacks and throwing weapons. He has three skill trees: Bloodlust, which focuses on his Buzz Axe weapon and rewards players for stringing together combo kills, Mania, which increases the rate your action skill recharges as Krieg takes damage, and Hellborn, which increases fire damage when Krieg is on fire.

He's a high risk, high reward character, Eurogamer's US news editor Jeffrey Matulef, who is at Gearbox's panel at PAX East, reports. Krieg is at his best when rushing the enemy front lines. He can throw ignited dynamite when downed then detonate to get back into the fight.

Krieg will be released in May for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.

I'll probably get it, even though it's not included in the season pass. I might wait on the skill tree's to see what they are before laying the points down.

http://www.gearboxsoftware.com/community/articles/1023/bl2-ultimate-vault-hunter-mode-details

Among the level cap increase and various other changes coming to Borderlands 2 on April 2, 2013 is a new playthrough -- Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode -- built for challenging high-level play.

Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode differs quite a bit from Normal Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode -- here's a quick rundown of the major changes:

Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode Details

  • Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode is unlocked for a character once they have completed the main story missions in True Vault Hunter Mode and reached level 50.
  • Unlike other playthroughs, Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode can be replayed multiple times with players able to reset their overall mission progress at any time from the Main Menu.
  • No more tutorial missions -- characters in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode begin in Southern Shelf with the "Cleaning Up the Berg" mission.
  • While playing in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, enemies and bosses will scale according to the player's current level or, if playing with others, the highest-level player in that party.
  • Gameplay changes in UVHM:
    • Enemy health generally increased 4x.
    • Enemies now have a moderate amount of health regeneration.
    • Increased duration of slag damage multiplier effect.
    • Upped the damage that slagged enemies take from 2x to 3x.
    • Weapon swap speed increased to better facilitate slag use.
    • Enemies now more likely to drop ammo.
    • Loot Midgets are now "Legendary Loot Midgets" that can drop Legendary and other top-tier gear.

Check back Monday for details on the various bug fixes in Tuesday's update, and don't forget there's more to come for Borderlands 2: Krieg the Psycho, a new playable character, arrives in May with the fourth campaign add-on (included in the Season Pass) hitting by the end of June!

Looks like I'm going to spend a lot of time slagging mobs! I bet the Invincibles are fucking insane in this mode.
