It is exactly that description - you roll a ball down a hill like Monkey Ball and attempt to smash in your opponent's base. Meanwhile when not rolling your ball down the hill, you put up various defense towers, cows (to bounce the ball out of the way), turrets, etc, in your enemies' path as they are doing the same to you at the same time.

So it's a competitive mutliplayer game, in single player going against the AI.

I haven't got all that far yet but it's got a good sense of humour and is pretty odd. It's fairly unique even though the influences are as clear as day but I haven't played a game quite like this.

Don't know if it's on other formats but it's currently going for 800 points on XBLA.

Played the trial loved the Python references and general style of it but couldn't see any challenge in it. It's easier to just forget about placing defenses after you've done your first lot and kicked off your ball and just race to the bottom as quick as you can. Three hits and the door is down regardless of how hard you hit it despite what the game says.

I'd like to pick it if it ever goes on sale though, for the style alone as it did make me laugh quite a bit.

I was pretty bemused the whole time I was playing it. I just didn't understand what I was supposed to be doing. I mean, smash the gate obviously but I was awful at it, I mean absolutely terrible. I was putting random defences down all over the place and my ball was smashing into stuff and falling off the end but I still beat the levels in the trial. Why did the game not laugh at me and tell me to try harder? Why did it just let me win? Seemed pretty pointless after that.

Playing the trial right now, its more in depth than i first thought, i thought it was going to be something simple like Super monkey ball where you just collect and get to the goal.

I quite like the fact you have to destroy more things to get money to but stronger balls and to defend yourself against the enemies.

You cant place defensive lines on the grey squares in front so theyre always able tp ick up that amount of speed. I think its just better to buy a load of cows and hope they push the rock over the edge.

Just fell off and you can placed back on, so it seems like you just have to focus on destroying it. I managed to do so with a horde of elepahnts.

I have had it where it takes more than 3 to destory the gate, probably coz my rock got weakened quite alot.

Anyone know what the golden keys are for?

I think the golden keys are for unlocking more levels, maybe? Not sure just yet.

EDIT: Yeah, you need so many keys to unlock gates to progress to the next load of levels on the map. I've been trying to get all of them so far, some of them are well hidden.

Those are the early tutorial levels though, they won't kick your arse till later on.

Well I'm about 4 keys short out of the total, and this shows how badly this game must've sold - no guides whatsoever to help me out. No-one playing it online either.

Good game though, very funny in places.

When this ends up on sale I'd hope people will pick it up, it's worth your time and money.
