retroed
@ Amazon. They're wired, but a darn sight cheaper than the X41 which are £150RRP. USB powered, no need for AC adaptor or batteries. Independent game and voice volume settings.

retroed
I'm getting a set for my birthday!
retroed
I have these now. I used them last night on Dead Space 2, and they work brilliantly. I tried out the voice chat too and that's also really good. Recommended, especially at £32.
hinn888
They're well good, you can hear yourself talk however. Having problems trying to get the Game music coming through as well though
retroed
You're meant to be able to hear yourself talk, it's so you know how loud you're talking. I like it. I used the AV adaptor I got with my old Elite that goes above the HDMI cable, and plugged the phono cable straight into it.
Sly Reflex
I have some of these now. Going to use them on the PC mainly. The wiring process for rigging up to 360 looks like a right pain in the arse. I'm surprised at the quality of the over all package tbh, they are very well put together. retroed
The wiring process for rigging up to 360 looks like a right pain in the arse. It's easy. Do you have the HDMI audio adaptor with the phono/optical ports on it? I have that hanging out the back of the 360 with the Turtle Beach wiring plugged in permanently and left beside the console. Then, when I want to use the headphones, I just plug the green cable in, and plug the USB cable into the front of the 360.
Sly Reflex
No. Just normal HDMI.
hinn888
Likewise, i need to buy a HDMI audio adaptor. Problem is, my HDMI is quite thick and can't plug a HDMI and the one above at the same time
hinn888
Bought an official HDMI audio adaptor and HDMI cable from ebay and its all sorted ^^. I have noticed you get a buzzing noise when you plug the play and charge kit in though.

TopGunKnacker
you dont necessarily have to buy an audio adaptor if youre using hdmi, my buddy used the stereo outs on his tv instead of the xbox.

Sly Reflex
Mine arrived. They're amazing Sadly they don't stay like that for long. These have proper put me off ever buying any more TB stuff.

Sly Reflex
The sound quality fluctuates. Listening to music in games it sometimes crackles to the point I have to turn them right down. It isn't just bass or high treble that does this, it seems completely random. The mic is fucking shit. Whenever I use it (for PC gaming only) if reverbs and does that echoing shite you sometimes get on LIVE. This happens every time. No matter what settings you use the mic is always loud for people on the receiving end, this means they can hear you and everything in the room with you. Whenever I use it online now I have to have the mic off. Initially I really loved it, but as the quirks started coming out of the woodwork I've grown to really dislike it. retroed
Wow, I have none of these problems. I use it solely on my 360, though, for both single and multiplayer inc. mic use. Might be a warranty issue?
Sly Reflex
It's possible. What annoys me the most about them is how fucking good they were for the 1st week or so.
