    Kororinpa

In this weeks ChatterBoxRadio, Ara talks a bit about Kororinpa. I haven't listened to it yet, but apparently he has some good things to say about it. Right click, save as

  3. Yes, but Martin Mathers wrote both of those reviews, and I have good trust in that chap.

I'll be downloading this along with all the other weekly podcasts tomorrow, ready for listening to at work next week.

    Demo Thread

It does take a while for the controls to click, just give it a bit more time. The full game features some superb tracks, though.
  7. Hell yeah, it still remains as one of my favourite DS games of 2007.

    Halo 3

Mine hasn't arrived from the eBay seller I purchased from yet, he said he is shipping the final batch out on Monday. I'm in no real rush as I'm a complete Halo n00b, but the online Forge stuff sounds quality.
  9. Well I ended up getting this today. I traded in Worms 2 PSP (£17), Powerstone Collection PSP (£5), and Snowboards Kids DS (£5). It was £39.99 instore, so I had to pay £12.99 for it, but I'm happy with that. I haven't played the full game yet, but I intend to have a few blasts on it this weekend.
  10. Some first impressions over at NTSC-UK have tipped me over the edge. I'm going to take the remaining games I'm trying to get rid of into Gamestation and see what I can get, I know Worms 2 PSP is a tenner straight off the bat, so I may be able to get it without laying out many/any funds. The more I think about the game, the more I want it! Online races should be great with six cars and tight courses.
  11. Out today on 360, PS3, PSP, and PC. There was a bit of talk about this in the demo thread in this very section, but seeing as the game is out now, i thought I'd start a topic. Anyways, I thought I'd have another quick go on the Canyon track. I was 1st after the first lap, and continued to hold the position until the end. I seem to be getting the hang of the controls now, and am absolutely loving it. It's one of those racers that brings a huge smile to your face, similar to that of when I first experienced OutRun 2006 C2C. I'm seriously thinking of picking SEGA Rally up soon, perhaps when it drops in price a bit. I can imagine this will be a game that doesn't get the attention it deserves, and will be price slashed in a month or two, but I could be wrong. Although £29.99 for the 360 version on blahdvd is tempting, I must hold off for the time being as I have enough to keep me going right now. If I find a spare 30 notes doing nothing, it's going straight on this, however. Fantastic arcade racer. Looks amazing and handles superbly. Well done Sega. EDIT: It's also £29.99 in gamestation I believe, hmmm what can I trade...
  12. It'll look nicer on the Wii VC, being 60Hz and RGB etc. Is it actually a good game, though? I'd never heard of it until a few months ago.

  17. Be warned: if you're thinking of getting the Collector's Edition in the tin case, be sure to check the disc in the shops (if that's where you're getting it), as the disc holder inside doesn't hold the discs securely, and the discs are getting scratched to fuck. I read this on various sites a few days ago, but now it's been confirmed by a few users on RLLMUKforum, too.
  18. Yeah, GT 1 or 2 definitely did! The early release version.
  19. Nice one. I am now waiting on Forza 2 & Gears of War (£31.50 the pair), Halo 3 (£30.98 delivered on eBay), and I just bought Crackdown for £12.79 delivered, too. They should keep me going for a bit! I also ordered a Joytech RGB cable last night from Play.com for £9.99 (I can't put up with the graininess any longer), and Worms from the XBLA! I'm thinking of getting Bomberman Live and a random 400pt game with the remaining points. Pac-Man CE demo is awesome, though. And now I'm all spent, until I get paid.
  20. NTSC-UK review is up. I still enjoy firing the game up for a quick song or two every now and then. I unlocked another track last night, as well! Just wait until you unlock Oni mode.
  21. I caned my PSP a fair bit on my hols, mainly Everybody's Golf (best PSP game EVAR), and it really is quite an improved machine. I tried applying my HORI screen protector but it wasn't having any of it (first time I've failed as well), so I've ordered another one from P-A, along with a USB cable and new case, and it's just shipped.
  22. Well I've just gone and bought the vanilla PAL version from a seller on eBay, £30.98 with 1st class recorded delivery. He was selling the collector's edition for a fiver extra, but I can do without that. Will anyone be up for co-op? I've never really gotten into Halo (never played the first, played the second for about 10 mins). I'm only available quite late in the evenings or weekends, though.

    Demo Thread

I had a quick go at SEGA Raly earlier, and came 2nd in my first race, using the Scooby. Couldn't quite get first, though. It was only a brief play, but I did enjoy myself. I'm currently playing in 50Hz composite 'goodness', and the graphics still impressed me.
