I've never played a Ratchet & Clank game and I've been getting steadily curious about them. I don't think I'll get this one yet but I might try the first one. It won't be soon because its far to busy but maybe laters.

It costs 400 points on the 360. I expect better from Double Fine.

Its still been the same three. Brutal Legend, Forza 3 and Borderlands. Brutal Legend was completed this week and I think it was brill, the ending was tied up a little to quickly, though. I thought there would be more game to come. I'm working my way through Forza, just bought a race car and I can't drive if.. great. And I've mostly been Blaying Borderlands on my own but I still like it that way, co-op is a blast though, alot of fun to be had. After trying the Left 4 Dead 2 demo I got a taste for it again and put Left 4 Dead back on. I've been playing the Verses mode. My first game was a really good one, the randoms I was with were nice and knowing the infected are plotting against you alot more than the AI does makes it really intense, I'll probably play it some more to take my mind off the sequel.

I just have one orange, a revolver with a massive barrel, decent accuracy and loads of power. No scope on it and a really shit fire rate. Swings and roundabouts a guess. Isn't pearlescent white? How would you tell the difference (apart from actually looking and comparing the stats to a shit gun)?

Its only two months so it won't be difficult.. .. but I won't be joining because I do have Muramasa on order and DJ Hero, Dragon Age and New Mario Bros are tempting me and I know I'll cave in and buy atleast one of them.

Quest items/rewards like that go right into your inventory, for everyone. Any item that is dropped on the floor is up for pinching.

Ker-bump.. or kizzump.. or major bumperage. I've been playing it and I also think its great, really good actually. Its fucking hard though, I'm in the third set of races and I keep coming really low down in the roster but I'm going really fast.. I think I am anyway. I don't think I quite get how to play it yet and Forza 3 is taking up my racing time but I've enjoyed the time I've had with it. One question; what does building up to the special move do? keeping withing the B stunts and boosting when you can has won me the harder races.

With such a big variety the gun world is your oyester. I've come across some exotic weapons but to be honest I stick to the powerful standard weapons. Elemental and unusual lazer wave type things arn't as powereful on a single enemy so I stick to the boring but effective ones. To really appreciate it you have to play it, I got real simple excitement when I found a reasonably powerful sniper rifle with a 98% hit rate, I've come across more powerful rifles with lower hit rates but whats the point when you use it long range and it misses.. thats why I stick to the one I have. Its not just the weapons, shields and character classes also have many varients so there is a constent sense of inprovement in it. Its such a surprisingly good game, highly recomended. just don't expect a good narrative.

Ha ha. Yes Creymen, it looks 'nice'. I had a quick go at drawing on my car but I like them they way they are. Like this. It would feel wrong tampering with that.

I always forget about that move. There pretty cool bits of history on those, I wish they were drawn more like the metal album covers that the world looks like, though. I also discovered how to release the serpants late on so I've been going back and freeing them too but I can never remember where I saw them the first time round. I'll be going through it on Brutal difficulty at some point and I'm gonna look out for them more then.

Finished now. But I never did figure out how to open those big statues. Since others are still playing it. I think its a shame it got a frosty reception from some, its the most original game I've played in sometime. It borrows from other games but when it comes together there isn't anything quite like it. Its got some dodgey design choices but it didn't stop it from being highly entertaining. I don't rate it quite as highly as Psychonauts but it isn't far off.

As far as I know its been selling better than expected, though expectations were low because it was released so close to MW2. I think we have another Batman: AA on our hands and I wouldn't expect a massive discount soon. Thats my prediction for what its worth.

That reminds me, I must go and pre-order that album somwhere.

Nice work Hendo, Ben and Sly. I disagree with the point Ben made of not enjoying Forza (or games like it) because you have to start in common run-arounds and upgrade to the more exotic cars. I was doing a race before in the old Mk2 Golf, I was tearing around some Japanese foothills with all the assists off and it felt fantastic, revving the engine more than you should and everything was manageable. Doing a similar thing in a high performance car you can't put your foot down to much or you'll spin out and being to harsh on the brakes will make them lock up and you'll end up in a wall (thats if the assists are still off). This balancing act is where the challenge is but I still think there is plenty of fun to be had in the starter cars. I also disagree with Hendo, Lemmy does a great job in Brutal Legend. His dry delivery makes some of his lines brilliant, like the 'thicker than a babies arm' one. Jeez guys, get it right.

Don't say that. How are you playing it because if I got it then it I would have to sit the turntable on my knee, with all that movement I dunno if that'll be smart thing to do. I know the renegade edition comes with a stand but I'm not spending that kind of coin on it.

I should of checked that list of cars you can win because I bought the Alfa 8c for 300,000 and I went and fecking won one. I've put it up for auction but I know no one will buy it unless I draw some anime on it or something. I've decided I really hate that Meditaranian town track though, fucking cobbled roads. Its not to bad with the lower classes but my 911 doesn't like it one bit. Silverstone can still fuck off, too.

How can you not think Bayonetta is sexy? Have you got something to tell us? I'm gonna quote Sleepy Brown and just say I like the way she moves. I was also thinking of starting a new character on Borderlands purely for multi so I'd be up for that, if you're doin' it then maybe your bum chum Badger would be up for it too.. and maybe others.

I just need to be patient, I will be scratching until it drops off soon enough.

I played some Brutal Legend but I'm still stuck, I can't seem to kill the boss I'm on, I dunno what I'm doing wrong. I've also played some Borderlands which is being some kind of gaming crack to me, its just so addictive and I've also been playing Forza 3 too. I'm getting a steady garage full of cars and I'm even using manual gears like a big boy, I tried it with the clutch when I played local multiplayer with a friend, it wasn't to much of a problem so I may try it on the career mode, it did feel like the gear changes were quicker if you did it right. Korg DS-10 has also jumped back into my DS. I was inspired to get back into it after seeing some documentaries, one was Synth Britania and I forget what the other was called but it was about where German synth bands came from. I decided I can do that stuff easy and started fiddling with it on the DS. Thanks to my Rock Band skillz I must admit I am pretty good at constructing drum arangements but I still get confused with the rest of it, I can't quite get it to make the noises I'm thinking of.
