    Gunpey DS

I would say its worth a purchase at that price. After more time with this, its not quite as good as Meteos or Tetris, but its still a cracking brain basher! And again, I must reiterate, the music studio section is incredible. I had 2 DS's running last night, one with electroplankton, one with this, and was coming up with some awesome tunes man!
  2. you do, but only cos i washed it yesterday... lol
  3. RetroEd wrote: It is a bit, in that the "3rd" leg at the rear folds in and out which means you can adjust the angle. But unfortuantly you cant move the shelf bit up and down, that would be ace, but still, it only cost a pound afterall
  4. the best music video ever? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIT3LGOFB0Q hell yes. The movement to the music and the impact of what is happening on screen is something no other video has ever got quite as spot on. these two come close though - (i'm not writing titles/bands here, click and find out yo'self )

aye, my gf got this today and it's brilliant. Everything SMB:BB should have been and more besides. the extra control you get breathes new life into the genre and the added bonus of unlockables gives it that special "one more go" feeling. My only worry is how quickly I;m getting through it, I just hope theres more challenging stuff and maybemore levels to unlock... It's worrying that i;ve said that about nearly every Wii game so far, they are all just too short and easy :s

you are in for a treat on that level dude. this is such an awesoem game, theres still loads of extra levels i need to unlock yet, but getting 100 points on every level is damn challenging.
  9. that is a very good point. But that would make my all white one with bonus stylus holder even rarer!!!

I've played this for about an hour, so impressions may change after a day or 2.. But so far, so good. Kind of like a much less frantic yet more brain taxing Meteos. You have to link the lines from one side to the other, but of course, this is much harder then it sounds. It has time battle, story and free modes, along with wireless link up. But the really interesting bit is in the extras menu, where there lives a fully featured sound studio. You can make tunes by adjusting 24 channels of blips and drums, then set it to a music track which can also be edited. You can then save up to 4 compositions on the cart. Its really simple to use and is bloody excellent. So all in all, a damn great game.
  11. 100??? hardly a limited edition then..
  12. haha, I could do indeed, limited edition with sly's rap written all over it...

  14. So, RetroEd can go and spend money on a sexy Hori DS Lite stand, but here at Darkglobe Towers there simply isn't enough spare cash to do this. So, after a visit to Poundland and the purchase of a mini canvas holder, I can proudly introduce you to this, the Not-A-Hori-DS-Stand.... It is surprisingly the exact right height, and the shelf is spot on width wise for the Lite. And of course, it had to be painted white It even has a stylus holder for those moments a fag is needed.
  15. count me in with this, i have nowt else to do innit

this looks awesome, gotta be getting me this! from the vids it looks like the game monkey ball should have been, instead of the rambling mess of a game it turned out to be...

    Meteos Disney Magic

talk about ruining the one thing that makes a game special... the reason meteos was so good was that iut was brain-meltingly challanging, and having changed even the layout of the ds screens.... tut tut... reminds me of a Shigsy quote when he was asked what he thought of all the other platformers in the 16 bit days - "people copy us but they never understand or try to understand why we do the things we do, why we place coins where we place them and things like that"
