  1. Achievements? @illdog
  2. Yeah, I know where you mean... There's actually Bronze, Silver and Gold that can be gotten, Gold is obviously the best. Meeting those folks can definitely be considered the main questline but yeah, things aren't particularly clear in the respect.
  3. That Golden Idol is a reward for a side quest, a very easy to miss side quest... Has Madeline got a shop in your game? She wants an idol too.
  4. Thank you ed Wow... I wish I'd known this year's ago, cheers @retroed
  5. It's a big lad, solid too....
  6. Amazon be the place @regemond... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Metre-White-Walnut-Sydney-Cabinet/dp/B00BY8PXJ0/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1541871584&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=walnut+and+white+tv+unit Wish I knew how to shrink links...?
  7. Decorating complete, final set up and never being moved again (until the next time?)... I hate cables...
  8. I've played through the game easily four times now and still don't get the story or endings completely... It's gibberish.
  9. There's 9 vocations for the player and 6 for pawns, you'll never have clean sweep and to be honest you'll never really need to. You'd be surprised what you can get away with on this, I ran with a Mage and Sourcerer for half a game at one point... Yeah, they were glass cannons but some of the fights were spectacular. The Assassin let's you wield a sword and bow, it also has perks which makes it a viable tactic to go it alone. I loved the freedom to chop and change at will, it was a breath of fresh air at the time
  10. Yeah, they'll learn the best attacks for things too... get a mage pawn who's fought that Drake you encountered a few times and if he has ice magic he won't fuck about using other stuff, that'll expose the heart and its happy days. Not sure what class you're rolling but I really think having access to a bow really allows you to roll with any kind of threat.
  11. It's one of the biggest tragedies of this gen that the game hasn't received a proper sequel... That Japanese online thing doesn't count.
  12. That fucking thing actually batted me straight off those Battlements once... It was actually quite funny once I'd calmed down.
  13. If you're talking about a Port Crystal you can place it down and pick it back up all you like... Place them wherever you like (doesn't have to be in any ring) You'll bump into Dire Wolves eventually, I wouldn't stress about finding them. You'll get main questlines from the Duke and folk in and around the castle mainly... Those from notice boards are all some kind of busywork.
  14. Keep in mind that perks you've unlocked can be mixed and matched no matter which vocation you decide to settle on... I was usually a Strider or Ranger but would have stints as a Warrior, Fighter and Mage to unlock certain things. Unless your planning to main straight up magic weapons or become a Mystic Knight or Magic Archer (or Sourcerer and Mage obviously) I wouldn't worry too much about your magic stats. Another thing to think about, the level of your pawns can effect how much XP you earn.
  15. I actually can't remember having that much difficulty with mobs at all... The biggest shock was running across the Drake.
  16. Sorry for the no reply, it's been a long time since I've played this.... Off my head, stay away from Bitter black Isle until easily level 60/70 you'll get raped... Think it's Pawns with the Mage vocation and medicate that heals pretty well. Explore and find healing springs, fill up empty flasks with that and you can heal the entire party when you use it.
  17. ?? I've never seen that advert in my life...
  18. I adored this game, it's a different beast to Bloodborne so don't expect that... you can expect a weird as fuck story though and a whole lot of great fighting. If you were on PS4 you'd be able to use my pawn.
  19. Well I reached the final credits today, I think my opinion still stands... It's a good game, great even but it still lands behind the previous two for me. I'm happy enough with where Lara ended up character wise and I think overall it's a great trilogy. In regards to the game itself I think the Piatiti hub was the weakest element with far too much time spent there, I prefer Lara on her own against the elements not surrounded by crowds of people... I would've also preferred more combat against the soldier type enemies. I actually fairly liked the end boss fight though. I'll go back in eventually and try to 100 percent the map (and hope to god my game doesn't glitch)... I'll also be trying new game plus on the hardest setting at some point so that should be fun.
  20. Again I think I've left off exactly the same as you @Blakey, just got the notification that if I talk to that person it's the point of no return... Fortunately for me the last side quest didn't bug out, so I've got that out of the way. My game plan now is to revisit all the previous areas and 100% them as there's no chance I'm doing that in new game plus on the highest difficulty... There's a couple of treasures in the Piatiti that I just cannot figure out how to reach though... Although I've enjoyed the game a lot I have to say that I do believe it's the weakest in the trilogy... Maybe my mind will change one I reach the end credits.
  21. It sounds as if we're roundabouts the same place @Blakey... I've just been allowed to go all Predator on Trinity's arse and it was a blast... Literally. Seriously, when the game allows you to try and stealth your way through the jungle it's an absolute joy and feels so far removed from the Piatiti hub it's unreal. I don't even mind when I fuck up because line of sight and concealment actually work now. Stealth killing five guys and then thinking fuck it and petrol bombing the last two was fun and games.? The Oil Field area that followed was pretty bloody good too but I'm not gonna say too much about that, hit another hub now so I'm hoping that it doesn't slow the feel of the game down again, in the same breath I hope that I've got a fair way to go... I'm back to loving it. Getting ready to roast some fools... Back to being a badass!
  22. Fixed....??
  23. That's been one of my main concerns so far, I've noticed a lot of the enemies will run directly at you in this (far more so than the previous two games) so some short range crowd control would be nice... A shotgun should be god tier at point blank range but I've seen enemies take four or five blasts before staying down and these are natives running around in fucking loincloths, that's ridiculous. The other thing is outfits, what's the point of unlocking or crafting these outfits with upgraded attributes when the game locks you into one costume for hours on end... Pretty much all of my time spent in the Hidden City hub I've been locked out of my preferred outfits, it's fucking annoying.
  24. Only because with given her stupid expressions... I still need to try for a picture of her smiling or winking when she impaled on something...?
  25. The way people are spinning things nowadays I think it's preferable to be a mass murderer rather than a tomb raider... The jury is still out on which one I prefer over this and Rise... They've got to ramp up the combat otherwise I think the second game will edge it.
