Maf Posted May 29, 2022 Share Posted May 29, 2022 Only played 30+ minutes of this before having to go out but it seems really awesome. It’s just Resident Evil. Item combining, searching for items to get access to stuff, shooting zombies, inventory management. Even the save room has a go at it’s own quietly haunting theme. Except for typewriters it’s an answer phone. It leans in to it, too. From the go you can get a special uniform that has a RPD acronym with the description of “Must belong to a video game enthusiast” The only things that really separate it so far is the perspective, speed and humour is different. Also no way near as scary. But it is fun. It’s definitely got it’s own charm, though. The shooting is satisfying, zombies melt and have good sound fx, it wastes no time puzzles start right from the off. I found it hard to put down at 30 minutes and was late to where I needed to go, so that’s a good sign. I’m in to it.
