Tomahawk Rob
Pre-Order bonuses for UK & Ireland announced... Today Capcom has announced details of the Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds pre-order deals available to customers in the UK and Ireland.Depending on your preferred retailer, there are a number of differently coloured T-shirts, a comic or a steel book version of the game on offer. Each T-shirt is a different colour and offers a unique piece of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 art. Images of each T-shirt are in the full article here. ShopTo is offering the special edition Marvel vs. Capcom 3 comic, which includes lots of art and entries from the winners of the art competition. Gamestation has the steel book edition which includes artwork from Marvel comic artists Alvin Lee, Joe Ng and Shinkiro. Not all of the sites above have updated with the pre-order deals, however the ones that have are showing the standard £40 retail price. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is scheduled for release February 18th in the UK. Looks like they're kind of splitting the US Collector's Edition stuff between ShopTo & Gamestation
hinn888
Nooooooooooooooo, i want them all Think i have to get the steelie & hope the rest comes on eBay. No DLC characters either, so looks like im gonna have to fork out for Jill and Shuma Gorath. *EDIT* ShopTo is the cheapest and the comic is apparently worth £10, GStation doesnt even state that it is the steelbook edition. hinn888
If there's one thing we hate more than anything else about playing online, it's quitters. Some gamers will happily take their wins, but literally pull the cable out of the back of the machine to avoid registering a loss. Capcom recognises this problem and has come up with a superlative answer, which will be implemented in the magificent-looking Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. The game will keep an invisible stat which monitors your connection habits. If it notices you pulling the plug during online games, it will start marking your reputation down. No-one else will see it, but the utterly amazing outcome is this: Rage quitters will be matched up with other rage quitters, allowing everyone else to enjoy the game in peace. Amazing. Above: This could actually teach idiots the errors of their ways. Oh, that text is photoshopped on by the way All the system needs to do now is pit the verbally offensive 12-year-olds against the other verbally offensive 12-year-olds. Then it should be licensed out to all the other online games in the whole world, at which point we would officially declare Capcom our most favouritest dev ever. DANGERMAN
Sentinal was rumoured to be in a while ago, but I dont think Arthur was rumoured to be sticking out of his leg. Then again how would you even make that mistake on photoshop, you'd just paste Sentinal on?
hinn888
If its real it would of been Arthur was the used character and Sentinal was called in for an assist. Sentinal & Hsien-Ko are the last two that the twitter man has said doesnt hasnt been added yet.
Tomahawk Rob
From True Achievements: Capcom recently updated their Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Official Roster Page to include each characters' movelist. The only ones not revealed are Akuma, Taskmaster, Shuma-Gorath and Jill. There are a few things revealed in the move listings, primarily the differences between the "normal" and "simple" controls. Simple controls have special/super moves mapped to just one button with no need to enter directional commands. Some moves, such as Haggar's Flying Piledriver shown below, require a directional press + button when being executed through the simple controls. The other difference is that you are limited as to what moves can be used through the simple control scheme. Variations in moves by using different strengths also are not possible with simple controls. These controls are only advised for someone that has little to no fighting game experience. A major change throughout everyone's move list includes the removal of full circle motions. Instead of Haggar's Flying Piledriver being a full 360 like Zangief's Spinning Piledriver, it is a half circle back. One last tidbit, is that on the full roster page, there are still 4 empty character spaces. We know there is one more Darkstalker to be revealed and supposed images of Sentinel have been leaked onto the internet. That leaves two more spots to be filled and we know it won't be Frank West or Phoenix Wright.

Tomahawk Rob
Yeah, that was pretty much a given seeing as the smarty-pants Twitter dude spoilt everyone's fun and even got Haggar & Taskmaster correct! Maybe those final two slots will be filled with a second pair of DLC characters?

hinn888
I think Green Goblin was figured to be fake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqFid6xqGyE&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwEHS6dr6Lw&feature=player_embedded# I might have to main Hsien-Ko! DANGERMAN
she was surprisingly physically strong in darkstalkers, and it looks like she is in this, so that's probably not a bad choice
stoobie
I found her really hard to use in Darkstalkers. Did you know that yellow piece of paper with a face on is her sister.
