Where you see restrained I see superficial. There are some good moments in the game but I’ve forgotten pretty much all of it because it was trash. It was only listening to them talk about it where I was like “Oh, yeah, that sucked. And that sucked. And that really sucked. And that but was fun, but followed up by this other super sucky part”

GoW is a fun game to play but the story is so weak and brain dead

Listening to GB talk about GoW is bringing back strong feelings of how fucking bad the story was in the game

I don’t know. The headset comes with its own headphones. I don’t know if that is a standard headphone jack (?) on the headset. 

Kind of feeling like this VR headset is a waste of time. I don’t really want to use it. The amount of wires for it is insane. It has disturbed my whole set up. Looking at the games on the store basically none of them catch my eye. I don’t know. I always thought VR was some gimmicky bullshit and said I would give it a go when the right game came out, which hopefully Astrobot is it, but I haven’t found out yet because I just can’t be assed to use the thing. It comes back down to that thing where “if it’s more complicated than putting a disc in and turning it on I don’t want to know”

In brighter news, I finally got SS rank on every area on Normal mode! Holy hell that took some doing. 

Maybe I try the other modes before going on to expert

Bought this as it was on sale. Don’t know when I get to it but both looking forward to it and pretty intimidated by it the way people talk about the difficulty

I want to say first and second boss are both pretty easy. But now they have nerfed the Forst Blast the second one might be more of a bastard again.

I despise WoL so much. It brings this whole game down from a 8 to like a 4 for me considering this is the main unique mode. 

So not only was Final Crisis the first DC event I ever read but it was basically at the start of me trying to get into DC comics 10 years ago. And even then I only read Final Crisis 1-7. Needless to say, I had no fucking idea what I was reading. 

But even then I really loved some of the moments in it even if as a whole I didn’t really get it. This, I think, has everything. Except now I think I need the 52 Omnibuses to go with it

Also so look at the size of Final Crisis. I put it next to a standard TPB for comparison

So I just tried PSVR for the first time and with this. It’s pretty gimmicky. There is no lying that the first 10 minutes are very much HOLY SHIT but then when you actually get down to playing Tetris it all just sort of goes away and the sound is very tiny because the headphones are crap and the resolution is very low which is somewhat compensated for the VR-ness of it all, but yeah. Overall I liked it but I don’t think this my preferred way to play at all. Like not even close to be honest. It’s a fun 10 minutes but Astrobot has got a lot on it’s shoulders right now. 

God damn it. There’s an ‘enhanced’ version coming for Switch.

I think I only had the last difficulty to get through but man was that hard. If they nerf the purple weapons then I don’t know what to do. They better buff those red ones

I can skip the Read Ded parts until later. I was just wondering if there any other story heavy games I need to avoid. But I don’t think there is.

They nerfing the Forst Blast?! Well, there goes my strategy. 

If they nerf the turrets, too, then I really got nothing left. 

Oh, yeah. The only one I haven’t played is AC but I don’t care about the story in those games, anyway. Guess I can listen to their podcasts until they get to Red Dead

Apart from Red Dead 2 are there many other games this year where story spoilers are a thing? I want to make sure I don’t ruin any games for myself but Read Dead 2 is the only game I can think of this year where spoilers could really apply. 

Any story heavy games or games with big gameplay twists I should be aware of (Without telling me what they if possible)

World of Light is so bad. The constant loading, the stupid spirit system, the repetition, the fact that most of the fights are really easy except every 1 in 10 or something will have some bullshit modifier. 

I like the the rest of the package a lot but WoL is really drops the ball. I don’t know why they just won’t do Subspace Emissary again? That was so cool

I played this game to completion and do not remember a single thing about it. Clearly it must be very good

I really don’t know what I think about this game anymore. Do I actually like it or only like it when I do well at it? Because sometimes I feel like I just get fucking robbed and put in positions where there’s nothing I can do and it is infuriating unlike any game in recent memory but sometimes if luck is on my side I overcome the bullshit and it feels amazing. But there is far more bullshit than luck happening. I can’t tell if that means I like this game and hate how bad I am at it or hate this game full stop
