It supports loads of wireless ones. I’ve got a Turtle Beach wireless with a flip down mic, VSS and Dolby Atmos and it works a dream. Was a bit pricey at £70 though so not really ideal for Mr. Tooth.
Not sure what I was talking about then, sorry. Fake news!

It's been a while since I looked but if I remember correctly, the only wireless one supported is the official Xbox headset, I don't think it was astronomical, but also didn't have great reviews.

I'm ok with all of this

It’s the month of the Jim.
..just noticed his counter pick tho 😬
Yeah the counter could undo all my gains from Spiderman and Mario
Both my shitty counter picks have proper screwed me this year, all of my games have over performed their predictions apart from Lego Drive 2K which slightly underperformed and Tekken 8 which got pushed to next year. Hopefully Forza is underwhelming and Mario and Spidy are GOTY material, but I'm out of the running for a top 3 finish for certain. I'll be more wise with my counters next year anyway

You'd have to get yourself a power bank for those dating apps as well

I'm still waiting for it to come to Game Pass...

Wowsers. It has set me off wanting a new phone though. An iPhone 14 direct from apple is £30 a month for 2 years 0% Apr, that would bring my monthly phone cost to £43 a month, but I could probably lower my O2 SIM only contract down a bit as well, or move to someone else

How much do you have to pay per month for this? Sounds expensive

How are we going to fold our switch in half?
You can do it at least once with enough determination

I'm excited for it, haven't played a Forza since 3 on the 360 which is one of my all time favourites. Not happy what it may do for my fantasy critic score

Not sure if any of us are the target audience for a relaxing, cute railway planning game but…this looks good.
I feel like I'd enjoy that.

wow, yeah that is shitty. I feel like there might be enough of a push back for them to reverse the decission perhaps

I say let it cook until 2024, let Turn 10 figure it out. Definitely not thinking about my Fantasy Critic score

wish they’d made it shorter or actually used that time more wisely to actually finish the story rather than leaving it on a cliffhanger.
You should try explaining to an annoyed and frustrated 7-year-old the concept of a cliffhanger and then having to wait a year for the resolution because I had to and it wasn't pretty.
I had much the same feelings on it, but maybe liked it slightly more. I've watched the first one a lot these last few months as both my boys are pretty obsessed with it, and the more I watch it the more I think the first film might be my favourite Spiderman film. I think the sequel was good, but yeah too long, too frantic and should have had more of the elements resolved in the first with some carrying over, especially since there is a long wait time between films.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Yeah that's a great one. The accompanying manga is great as well, they do a great job of expanding our that whole world.
I'm not sure if Netflix have it in the Ghibli collection as it isn't technically a Ghibli film, but Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro is also great, a really funny crime caper and has aged pretty well

Eesh more sports washing from Saudi. Look at me using sports washing in context like I know what I'm talking about. Are you proud of me @DANGERMAN?

That was a beautiful game, a great showcase for the PS2. But in hindsight, it was almost a swansong for the 3D platformer genre.
Nah, dude, loads of great 3d platform games have come after Jak & Daxter. All the Mario games from Sunshine onwards for a start.
It did feel like the end of an era for Naughty Dog though, Jak 2 felt very different in tone and after that, it's uncharted and Last of Us

A great film that I've watched once and absolutely never again

Me and my wife watched Extraction 2 this evening, which we both really enjoyed. Basically 2 hours of Chris Hemsworth punching and shooting people in the face, with a good chunk of it happening in "one shot" (obviously it isn't, but it does appear to be). It was good fun, Hemsworth plays that character well and is believable as an unstoppable hard dude. I don't remember much about the first apart from being a bit indifferent to it, but the second one is a step up, I think I probably enjoyed it more than the John Wick sequels.
Also took my oldest to see the new Turtles movie as well which was pretty good. I don't really have a huge amount of nostalgia for the original Turtles, which is odd as I'm probably the perfect age for that. Anyway, the film is a good reboot of the origin story, it looks great, seems to have taken a few leafs from the Spider-Verse book. If you're a Turtles fan, you should have lot of fun with it, or maybe hate it? Who knows, fandom is a fickle thing sometimes.

That's good to hear, that's a pet peeve of mine with some racing games where it feels like you're turning the track around the car, not the car around the track. I always had that issue with Ridge Racer and the original mario kart to name two. It's a once you notice it you can't un-notice it thing and why I've always used the "Stuck to the front like a dead fly" view since Ridge Racer Revolution
