  1. this has been in the making for about 2 years, good to see it finally coming! Can't disagree with that 10 either, spot on really, even though I hate one of them, I can understand why it's there...
  2. Completed this at the weekend. It has the greatest ending to a game I've ever seen, around 20 minutes of perfection! The last chapter had some awesome highlights such as the theme music (you'll have to play it to find out what it is) and Bowsers entrnace. Also the mid way point in the final battle is one of the best things I've experience in an RPG. This is simply the best game on the Gamecube that I've played, and easily ranks above the likes of GTA:SA and SotC as the best game of that generation. Which is odd, as that's usually a place reserved for Zelda
  3. The Legend Of Zelda : Twilight Princes (Wii) - mmmmmm, best game ever. GT4 (PS2) - 100% on another memory card. Yoshi's Island DS (DS) - 100% GTA : Liberty City Stories (PS2) - Just the main story Eledees (Wii) - Main story again, though 100% will be mine! Kororinpa (Wii) - Again, main story, but will 100% be possible on this one? I reckon so. Metal Gear Solid : The Twin Snakes (GC) - Every difficulty level up to hard so far, not brave enough to attempt European Extreme mode yet... Pikmin 2 (GC) Picross DS (DS) - 100% Done, every puzzle completed in under 20 minutes each. Warioware : Smooth Moves (Wii) - Stupidly easy, 100% done in about 4 hours Go Go Beckham (GBA) Puzzle Quest (DS) Paper Mario : The Thousand Year Door (GC) Best game ending ever.

    Real or ridiculous?

if you want to simplify things into three groups, then yes, PGR would most definitely live in the group as MK/F-Zero. If not, you could probably argue the case for a 4th group. But in no way is PGR even close to Forza/GT....

    Real or ridiculous?

First of all, PGR, Need For Speed et al are ARCADE racers, they are not sims or in any way shape or form realistic. They belong in the category (or at least very close to) as Mario Kart/F-Zero etc etc. You then have the console sims, such as F1, GT and Forza which are as close to a sim you can get on the consoles. Then, in the hard core world of PC's you get the proper sims such as GTR and the others from Simbin, and Geoff Crammonds Grand Prix. These make GT4/Forza look like PGR... I find I can enjoy them all to a point, but the one that to me is the best is GT4, its a perfect mix of realism/easy to playness....

  9. Well, I keep seeing this thread so it's time to pipe in with what I've completed thus far this annum, and of course I'll update as needs must. Warioware : Smooth Moves (Wii) - Stupidly easy, 100% done in about 4 hours Go Go Beckham (GBA) Puzzle Quest (DS) And of course I'll add more as I do them, I predict Paper Mario will be the next one to join the list

  11. Chapter 6 all done now! Memorable moments include the train journey and the detective, oh boy the detective! And the chef!!!! So many wonderful charecters, I've now clocked up 43 hours of game time. I must admit though I'm doing ALL the troubles between each chapter and going to do loads of side quests and piss about in the arcade. I never want this to end

    LEGO Star Wars II

It's a wonderful game. I have the PS2 version, but it's the same game anyhoo. You'll breeze through the main story mode, but trust me, you'll want to get everything on this, you'll want to see every last bit of the game which will take you a while, but by golly is it worth it
  13. chapter 5 done and dusted! latest memorable moments include the bowser bit, the sea bit and the bomb man!!! hehe, no spoilers, but you'll all see when you meet these moments.

Mario Kart Double Dash!! arrived today.
  15. This game is getting better and better with ever passing moment of time with it. Just finished chapter 4, and whilst theres a bit of back tracking which would get on my nerves normally, with this game it doesn't matter, cos it's such a fucking joy!!!! So many moments I hope I don't forget already, listening the crows gossip is a highlight right now, genius. This is in danger of becoming the best game I've ever played.

    DS Homebrew thread

Well I was up all night playing Puzzlemainiak! It's ace. First of all it needs DLDI for R$. The 6 puzzles are all logic ones, and some may take a bit of time to sink in, instructions are provided though. You can choose to just play random puzzles, or download athe daily challenge using WFC. This is really a great fully featured homebrew game. I'll put this into the puzzle guide at some point.
