Legend of Heroes (series)

Thought it made be worth creating a news thread for this series since it seems to be gathering steam recently. It’s a long running series of jrpgs by Falcom that has multiple “arcs” and most of the arcs span multiple games, and they all interconnect with each other. I think the appeal lies mostly in following the stories and the characters, rather than fancy graphics or flashy gameplay.

The newest announcement is The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak which is coming next summer.

Apparently it’s the first game in a new arc.

Did they change the company that was doing the translations? they seem to be coming out a lot quicker than before, 

in recent memory we gotTrails from Zero, Trails to Azure, Trails into Reverie & spinoff The Legend of Nayuta - Boundless Trails, all coming along very swiftly.

Daybreak 2 being released 14/02/25. I have the first one on Switch so will probably buy the this on it as well

I wonder if the remake will still be like, super boring. Hard act to top 🤔

 

I have no idea what subsequent games in the series look like wrt their combat, seems like you can switch between turn based and action or something?
