Did no one buy Toy Soldiers in the end?

I thought it was really good defense game, only thing different is that you have to take over one of your defense or your pretty much buggered. I recommend the demo, you do end up having quite epic wars and when you annihilate massive tanks, its rather satisying.

This is Deal of the Week for 800 points, also DLC is 400 points.

I enjoyed the trial so kept hold of the download until it ended up in a sale.

I do love me some tower defense and this is a cool take on it.

I haven't played enough of this as I'd hoped because I've found it quite hard, might have to see if I can drop the difficulty down.

The sequel has been announced, looks mental - it's about as '80's as you can get.

Picked this back up and got right back into it. It helps that after a few times failing on the same level it asks you if you want to skip it or you can take the difficulty down to Casual, which I did. I would advise anyone playing it to start it on Casual, much more fun experience.

There's been a fair bit of variety so far, controlling tanks blowing shit up, or a couple of different types of planes, doing bombing runs. Or blowing up a Zeppelin. I tower defense games on easy settings, you feel like a god!
