I think Vista is making PC gaming much more easy because they now rank games on a 1-5 scale i think where your PC tells you its a 3 say and games come with this symbol but yeah its true average joe is a complete moron and will likely buy stuff they haven't a hope in hell of running on the standard settings and don't know enough to turn them down.

Personally I wouldn't like to see just 1 machine perhaps things will evolve like PCs to an extent where different companies can launch very similar hardware and you can choose who's to buy the same way virtually all 32" HD TVs are more or less the same they all do the same thing just different price points for different build quality.

It's the games that would suffer I think because everyone would be only doing 1 type of game. It would be a world where there are only 3 genres made Shooters, racers and party games and that frankly is one I wouldnt want to live in.

Besides the xenophobic issue would still remain no one in Japan would be happy with a US firm having the monopoly and no one in the US would have a Japanese machine thats so bloody hard to program for.

I think there's room for all 3 machines in the market as each one appeals to a different person, the 360 appeals to the boomfest lovers who dont like to think very much and the Wii is for daft party games and cute adventuring and the PS3 is where you're Final Fantasy crowd and the blu ray adopters will go. I guess the moral of the story is shouldnt we all just get along.

Command & Conquer 3 is the same game just set in the future with big super mass destruction weapons and i mean literally the same game its the exact same game engine and the mechanics are identicle, really I find BFME2 to be much more fun plus its Lord of the Rings so cool cavalry and spawnable hobbits to use as cannon fodder you cant go wrong.

I know how you feel I remember waiting on Puzzle Quest coming in the post before I got my R4 I tell you if thoughts could Kill postal workers I'd be in a rather cramped jail cell right now.

Then I can seriously recommend Battle For Middle earth 2 for your 360 should be cheap now as its a year or so old and its brilliant for getting quick skirmishes going though I will say do not take it onto Live against random folk as if the PC version is anything to go by you will get your arse handed to you and then some. For the DS Ecoris is the best RTS but then you know what high reguards I hold Age of Empires in.

spring next year for that I can't wait finally I'll be able to play the online match mode and of course finally work out how the map editor works. It beats the pants of any console RTS I've ever played and of course the cute factor is through the roof.

If anything Fire Emblem is more strategic seeing as if a unit dies thats it you cant just replace them with another nameless grunt. So yeah FE Shining Force and the like should really count.

I dont have a preference I like both in equal amounts really but I do prefer my turnbased games on handhelds and RTS games on the bigger screen with a mouse.

cant think of any turnbased games that i know of unless Hero's of might and magic 5 is out on it which is ace.

meh I don't use it because for some reason it doesnt like opera about all else we can offer would be a IRC channel and that will probably never get used either.

I got mine today and I ordered it a few days after it came out looks like Movietyme didnt fuck me over for a change tell you what though I wish I got the japanese box now the US one is pretty poor show the spine is terrible aswell obviously not as bad as the PAL one but still its not great.

I can't belive they have wasted a name as awesome as Ninja Breadman.

Just played the PC demo and its fucking intense to say the least but it's also very nice looking and the guns feel about right. I know this was beta tested on the 360 did anyone play it? is the XBL demo out yet to try?

I didn't know Ep2 came out after today hmmm but then as I said i'd only be getting it for Team Fortress 2.

The benefit of the PC version though is that cheaters dont get as much oppertunity I always try to play on servers that have clan admin on them alot.

Well its only 1 game engine running it so it would easily fit on 1 dual layer DVD. The PS3 version is slowly going along according to Valve but they washed their hands of most of it when the said the PS3 was effectively shit for westerners to develope for a fact mirrored by Epic delaying the PS3 version of Unreal 3 till next year.

I plan on getting this bad boy though Steam soon though I reckon I would have liked TF2 if it came out before Quake Wars.

And since I'm the only PC gamer i'll tell you what the game plays like on a set of real controls

32GB is far too much space you'd never use it all unless you like watching poor quality films on it .

Does mean however the dream of really carrying around your entire collection is possible i reckon 8gb would do me fine.
