  1. Well I wouldn't recommend this for single only it's just too damn short. Multi is the real appeal though it's sickeningly unbalanced for new players and if you're rubbish avoid it's very skill driven.

This is very much based on the PC version though and I know the 360 version lacks a few features but shouldn't make much difference.

  2. Wait till you play as Cpt Price and go back to the old Ukraine the sniper rifle is the fucking dogs bollocks.

I finished the singleplayer campaign in about 2 hours so the linearity of it didnt bother me with the exception of helping a wounded soldier to the pick up site. Multiplayer is where its at find a full server (if thats how it works on Live) and make sure its free for all on the map Shipment haha its fucking insanity.

  3. I had to bin all my magazines about 2 years ago when we moved because I was told, and I quote "I'm not fucking helping you move any of that pish into our new house" :( and I have barely bought any magazines since mind you I stopped getting GTM when they switched publishers and the subscriptions went tits up.

I have to hide all my CustomPCs now just so they don't get binned.

  4. That wasn't nerdy I could have explained exactly why Crysis is poor... and I will.

Firstly the DX10 hype. It's not truely using DX10 as Me and my mate managed to force the game into ultra high settings and force the Physics levels upaswell on a Windows XP machine with a core2 6850qx and Geforce 8800GTX with 4gb of ram and it looked and functioned nearly identically to a machine with vista and a Radeon 2900HD overclocked.

Now the AI it's rubbish they don't try to outflank you they react tosniper fire by running in your direction even when cloacked and using a scilencer. They are no better than any otherFPS AI and are much worse than HL2.

The story is also piss poor from what we saw in the first half of the game. so by no means a 9 the reviewers were probably just ooohing and ahhhing at the shiny visuals which lag badly on occasion due to some programming gone wrong which still hasn't been patched.

Also there was like 8 people worldwide playing multiplayer which is very yawn tastic it's just Counter strike meets battlefield 2 with cloaking.

    Very very average.

EDIT* If the low marks for Pro Evo werefor lag issues then theres no way that Team fortress 2 can be given a nine, all I ever hear is bad lag issues about that game.

Maybe they reviewed the PC version then. Good score for CoD4 but a 9 for Crysis ha 7 tops its bugged to hell and the AI is shit, like FarCry before it, it's nothing more than a graphics showcase and it barely uses DX10 overhyped and underdeveloped.

  6. Yeah Ive been following this mod since it was first announced and its been delay after dealy that I gave up on it ever coming out. Stunning as it looks I have a feeling that Valve are just waiting till it's finished then buy out the mod and we'll have to buy it :(.

Still it beats the shit out of Half-Life Source which was a complete rip off since it was just the original game with a tiny bit of physics.

It strikes me as one of those games where you get back what you put in to it. If you just draw a stick man, it's not going to do much for you, but spend a bit of time on your creation and the game oozes charm.

Bang on sir! The only problems I had with the game were the lack of tools to draw and the dialogue and start were very slow other than that its a brilliant little game I learned to love. My character was a goat in official USSR pj's :D using a fish as a blaster and using a pepsi sponsored submarine.

I spent a good hour drawing and editing my avatar and yeah it offers a much more personal feeling obviously it's no NSMB when it comes to the platforming but the game is stylish and cute and works very well in my mind.

  8. Play:

Enemy Territory QuakeWars [PC] best online shooter since Wolf:ET

    Zelda Phantom Hourglass [DS]

    Dementium the Ward [DS]

    Kouchuu Ouja Mushi King [DS]

Naruto: Path of the Ninja [DS]

    Want:

Clive Barker's Jericho [PC] the reviews are crap but I think i'll still try it

    Team Fortress 2 [PC]

    Unreal Tournament III [PC]

    Call of Duty 4 [PC]

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga [DS] finally

Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings [DS]

    Bin:

    Lack of a lottery win

still no US date for FFTA2

    no Etrian Odyssey 2 news

    everything Sam binned :(

  9. I loved ravenholm but I actually spent more time using the grav gun to chuck buckets of paint at the zombies :D and Hendo if you love that grav gun wait till you see what you get at the end.

  10. The story of the original is surprisingly lite the way it's implemented is ok. Basically wiki has a good write up of it I think here its very un necessary to enjoy HL2 as i found that asked more questions than gave answers and ep1 was nonsense not played ep2 yet.

    DS:

    Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights - 74%

    Drawn To Life - 54%

And thats exactly why my opinion of the ONM team is sooo very low Drawn to Life is a charming game and well worth a 70+ score. Juiced 2 on the other hand is the biggest pile of shite ive ever had the misfortune to play its a true example of hand held racing games are in the state they are.

  14. Yes but there's always dogs with puffy tails and squirrels to distract you so that should work in the mean time.

It just occurred to me I dont think Ive posted anything about this yet mainly cos I bombed through most of it in a week and have barely touched it since. I have 1 more special item to get before im on the last dungeon. I did what ill did and turned it off when I started sliding about on the ice and have done tiny bits since.

  15. half of those winners are utter shite. I admit to not being a fan of Gears but it did deserve 360 game of the year.

LOTR online shouldnt have been PC game though its crap so much better game came out. I think the mere fact a ps2 remake won handheld game of the year shows exactly the caliber of these awards to be honest but the Wii got the award it deserved so perhaps its not all bad though GAME winning retailer of the year is laughable atleast to me every GAME store near me is full of complete fucktards and stuff costs more than it does at GS.
