FF X? definitely. There is a bunch of stuff with the Ultimate Weapons, involving sigils. Not to mention the "200 Lightning dodges" and stuff like that, that you can't possibly know in an unaided playthrough. That said, FF 7 plays its puzzles legit. All four numbers for the safe are in the mansion. The only real hindrance is the status afflicting enemies within.
You don't really need a guide to collect anything readily available in-game. I had to preface that, as the means to defeating some of the Superbosses isn't readily apparent. Defeating one of them in particular gives you the means to find all the other secrets on the world map. Ironically enough many players do that boss last, therein making the reward redundant. The rest you just need to put on your explorers hat and away you go. For example, the out of reach item in the Hotel room on Kalm Town...
FFXII was the most obvious guide required game. The requirements for the Zodiac Spear could never be done accidentally. Plus all the hidden monsters. Having said that, hunting down every rare mark like I was collecting Pokémon With the hardback guide in my hand and half a dozen bookmarks was probably my most memorable gaming experience

Same. I watched the demo on YouTube, he seems on point to me. It was only during the demo that I also realised these are all brand new voices too. Maybe this was brought up before, but I was expecting the voice cast from Advent Children. Impressed that it isn't.
It doesn’t seem to have had great localisation. I’ll be playing the full game with Japanese voices, so it won’t seem as cringe, plus they have the original Japanese Advent Children cast who are all top VA’s whereas a lot of the American ones are TV actors mainly it seems.1 -

Just had a small moment that made me go “wow that’s cool”. There’s a tree in the Heartlands I’ve passed several times, it’s the ones with loads of bottles hanging from it. This time I happened to trigger eagle eye and noticed yellow indicator on one of the bottles. I shot it down and it contained a gold nugget! Just found that a really nice detail.

Let's have a mafia game.
It wouldn't be the same without Richman.

What the fuck is everyone on about in this thread?
Things often get a touch weirder when I arrive.

So close to lvl 30, just need one more piece of raid gear. Got the boots fully levelled but then got the boots another two times on sunday night! What are the chances?? Hopefully get gauntlets or chest-piece next as I prefer my exotic helmet to the chest of alpha lupi exotic chest.

How do Soundwave, I may remember you from GTM, and from The President's Neck Is Missing.
But did you see my pet project 'The Contrabulous Fabtraption of Professor Horatio Hufnagel'?

Hey Soundwave! I remember you GTM.
Probably better than I remember myself.
