Also, I found the super secret boss.
Holy fuck!
not really THAT secret... being that there's an achievement for it... I heard on the IGN podcast

I was thinking that the other day. My main character has health re-gen, ammo re-gen (for me and team), health re-gen when i get a kill, health and ammo from my turret... generally i don't have to use health packs or buy any ammo at all.

Hi Idaho and SlyEnemy. I'm one of the new guys. And seeing as I've been here a year, you guys HAVE been away for a LOOONG time. So what's new and improved???
Yeah i posted infrequently at best when it was DS-Wiifi and never posted after the "change".

I'm up to level 54 or 55 i think and it's still pretty tough! and by pretty i mean very.
The level cap is just a global increase i believe. I was tempted to do some main quest stuff in the vague hope of levelling up but then couldn't be arsed. The size is a royal pain in the arse. But it is good.

Anyone tried the new DLC?
I have a dilemma - I've got about 3000 points on my account and I'd like them to last as long as possible so I'm not sure I can afford both so I'm torn between the Zombie Island pack and this one. I'm not interested in Mad Moxxi because the arena bits in the campaign were my least favourite parts, I'd prefer more standard missions.
Any thoughts?
right... Zombie Island was good but it was really easy. The only reason I played it so long was cos one of the achievements takes bastard ages. It's essentially just a few extra missions.
This new one raises the level cap and there's a couple of new vehicles. It's also really tough! The extra missions seem to have a bit more thought to them aswell.
My 2 cents would say get the new one. I've been playing it for a fair few hours and it's proper hard.
EDIT - just noticed i've played this game for 74 hours... that's ridiculous!

I've spent £2.99 so far. I bought things off LIVE but i purchased the points last year.
In case you're wondering the £2.99 was on Alien Vs Predator : Classic 2000 (pc) from steam.

I'm stuck on level 2-something. It's probably dead easy but i'm not looking properly or something.

anyone getting that winterbottom/umbrella dude game today? looks like it could be good, if a little annnoying.
edit, played the demo, it's pretty good, smacking yourself all over the screen is fun, i got a bit stuck though so guess it's going to be pretty hard.
Bought it today. Only done the trial section so far but i've got a presentation to do for uni tomorrow so i'll get stuck into it tonight hopefully. I got a bit stuck too but nothing that was too frustrating.

Woah, surprise Idaho attack.
Yeah... I got bored and decided to revisit old playgrounds.

I keep thinking that i don't get excited about games releases any more. Last would probably be SotC. To be honest I think it's a combination of lack of games funds and generally being lazy.

I'm guessing that's the trailer with the robot sifting thru the sand. I've never been so let down by a teaser... The model of that robot put me off. It was suddenly a sci-fi universe over an alternative. I know the Fallout 3 was sci fi but little things like the robots in the wasteland being of a believable design is what sold it for me. I'll check it out again closer to launch but at the moment it's looking like an avoid for me.

The only time I've been let down seeing Tool i think was one of the ozzfests at donnington. That was mainly because it was so wet and windy the sound just disappeared. Seen Tool and Perfect Circle a few times and thoroughly enjoyed them every time. I know they can be pretty pretentious at times which is a real shame cos if they were a little more ordinary it would makewhat they're doing that bit more special. Sadly they're great and they seem to be well aware of it!
Deftones however I've heard nothing but good things about them as people.
