I’d 100% be up for this. Unfortunately Redoctane favour the soft, vague strum bar on their controllers. I’ve been looking at 3rd party versions for ages to replay Rockband 3 & 4 but I literally find that soft strum bar unplayable.

I need the clicky versions of GH. I doubt they’ll do it but I need to know if that’s an option here before getting excited.

Agreed, getting rid of the GH3 guitar when I moved was one of the biggest mistakes I made that day. I can see how the soft strumbars are easier to use if you alternate up and down but I only ever pressed in one direction and for that they're not precise enough, or rather don't flip back to neutral quick enough.

 

Edit: I do like that this kind of game is coming back though. If I should ever find a clicky guitar (and if the songlist is decent) I might give it a try.

I was mistaken! Redoctane did the GH guitars which were the clicky type! Hopefully means this will be too. I’m already much more excited about it now. Hope they can make it BC with old RB & GH games too it’d be cool to have an easy way to play  them again with a fresh feeling clicky guitar.

Now that you mention it, they were there from the beginning with GH1, and the floaty guitars only started appearing with World Tour/RockBand.

I had a look at how much the bundles are. There's 2 types for the full thing, on one of them the drums have cymbals, and I'm assuming that's the one @spatularis getting

Yeah definitely getting this, not sure which version though as apparently it supports older instruments so might already have compatible ones, hopefully they will have a list of supported ones. If I had loads of space though would definitely get the full bundle thing like DANGERMAN says
