Darksiders 4

Not much to go on other than they’re making a new entry. My guess is reboot but it could be a Darksiders 4

 

I really liked the first one and the Diablo-lite action RPG. So I’m interested in what they do here

I don't think there's a reason for a reboot considering the narrative never went further than the first game. I am a bit afraid that this might be remake though, as pointless as that would be. Because the next step for that series would always be to have all of them playable in some shape or form and I just can't see a production that big happen at Embracer at this time.

 

But in any case I'm glad the IP isn't dead at least, because the third one was extremely unpopular for reasons I can't even begin to understand (it's by far the best one IMO).

Hell yea!!! Darksiders 3 rules.

 

I liked the first and 2nd well enough too. Shame about Genesis though.

I never played Darksiders 3. Didn’t it go more Souls game than Zelda?

It has some Souls elements but IMO it feels more like a 3D Castlevania that takes place in a flat city rather than a vertical castle. The Zelda elements aren't there anymore and it's more streamlined and less bloated (particularly compared to 2) as a result.

For some reason I've never played the third game even though I liked the first two well enough, I'm pretty certain it's been given away through Gold or Plus too.

I saw it but I’m not a huge fan of the series and the teaser is kind of nothing. I’ll be interested in seeing what it is when they actually reveal the game. But until then I’m just going to forget about it

The thing is we already had a teaser last year and talked about it:

This does thankfully confirm it's a continuation but I think everyone interested in this is simply ready to actually see the game now.

This was great back in the day. Very pick up and play fun times. 
 

Apparently this has 4 player co op.
