Maf Posted June 8, 2025 Posted June 8, 2025 Sort of 360 era looking action game but looks smooth and the graphics are good
Maryokutai Posted June 8, 2025 Posted June 8, 2025 Looks like a neat little AA title. Art style could use a bit more oomph but I'll keep an eye on it.
Maryokutai Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 This game had a weird marketing cycle, I might have missed it but it seems like there was absolute radio silence between announcement and release. Seems like a digital-only title though, unfortunately. I'll check it out at some point.
Nag Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 I've been keeping an eye out for reviews over the last couple of days as I got a random news story on the game... the one I read went about the way you'd expect for this sort of release. I'd say there's a very good chance this'll pop up on Game Pass down the line and I'll play it through that if it does.
Maryokutai Posted November 6, 2025 Posted November 6, 2025 Just by coincidence I saw today that they reworked the game a bit after it came out and rebranded it with an Enhanced Edition subtitle. Mostly overhauling the combat, redoing some animation work (to make it look less floaty, which was indeed quite jarring in videos) and 'a reduction in menial interactions', which sounds funny, but is probably a good thing if you happen to know the difference between versions. It's also on sale now for 20-ish bucks (on Xbox & Steam, presumably also on PS5) until a bit later in the month. I think I'm going to pick it up in a week or two, the consensus seems to have been that it's not bad per se, but just doing stuff a lot of other games have done better before. Which I have no problem with if it's still an enjoyable AA title on its own.
