one-armed dwarf Posted Sunday at 15:09 Posted Sunday at 15:09 This is one of those weird things where games which look cool in trailers often feel really lame in VR, at least speaking subjectively. I've tried games like this (boneworks) and standing in your room pretending your climbing things and doing parkour feels really unnatural and dorky cause of the lack of feedback so it ends up feeling very fake. Like a kid playing pretend they're in the jungle The only game to really work like this for me is Lone Echo, cause the lack of feedback and friction actually works well cause it's in zero g and your supposed to feel that way. It's actually the most I've ever felt 'transported' into a different world in VR, even if Alyx is a better game than it
Maf Posted Sunday at 15:51 Author Posted Sunday at 15:51 I could see that. But a set piece style action game in VR still looks really cool.
