Metroid66 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 7/1/25 Sleeping Dogs, PC 12/1/25 Shadow of the tomb raider, PC 1/3/25 Bioshock Infinite Nice replay after many years. Still holds up but gets a bit too hectic (and shooty) for my tastes in the endgame.
HandsomeDead Posted March 2 Posted March 2 02/03/25 - Pokémon Sun (3DS) Playing Pokémon TGC Pocket lately got me into wanting to play a Pokémon game again and this is still my most recent one 😅 But it's still my favourite looking one, the art style since Sun/Moon hasn't been topped as far as I'm concerned, I dunno why they dropped the cel shading, the critters look so much better. Not a favourite as a game (I think the B&W is still the apex Pokémon gen) but a decent one. I may have to look if I still have my copy of White 2.

Craymen Edge Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition (PC) Yakuza 5 Remastered (PC) Although still good games, 3 and 4 felt a little rough after 0 and both Kiwami remakes due to just being remasters of the PS3 games. This one is starting to feel a bit more like the modern games. Lots of fun. The main plot is still barely comprehensible by the end, but the individual character storylines were all enjoyable interspersed with all the usual Yakuza nonsense.
Craymen Edge Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition (PC) Yakuza 5 Remastered (PC) Lost In Play (PC) Cute little point & click andventure game with really nice art and animation. The game is entirely language-free. The characters all talk in a gibberish language, and all on-screen tips or instructions are in icons or pictures. It generally works really well. The in-game puzzles are generally quite intuitive and not too obtuse. There are some others that present as logic puzzles or minigames where the lack of language makes them initially harder to grasp than they should be. It was a nice palate cleanser after a couple of long games. 1

The Riptide games from the same studio are better though IMO.

Craymen Edge Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition (PC) Yakuza 5 Remastered (PC) Lost In Play (PC) A Case of Mistrust (PC) A stylish and enjoyable short detective visual novel, slightly spoiled by an ending which was a bit of a let down.

Craymen Edge Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition (PC) Yakuza 5 Remastered (PC) Lost In Play (PC) A Case of Mistrust (PC) Castle Of Illusion (PC) Competent remake/reimagining of the megadrive game. Karateka (PC) I finished it first try with the last of the three characters (basically lives). The game wants you to beat it and rescue the girl with her True Love (the first character), but it's not fun or interesting enough for me to want to try to do that.
Craymen Edge Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition (PC) Yakuza 5 Remastered (PC) Lost In Play (PC) A Case of Mistrust (PC) Castle Of Illusion (PC) Karateka (PC) Grow Up (PC) Take the original Grow Home and Ubi-fy it. Make it bigger and add loads of icons to the map. The little robot guy is still as charming as ever, and the game is still as fun to play. The extra stuff was all inconsequential.
