My favourite thing is people calling this Rocket League with people

 

Separately I think this is a billion dollar idea and you’ll see a version of it in FIFA (or whatever it’s called now) 2 years down the line the same way CoD did Warzone

They used to have a similar mode in Fifa, which they kind of split out in to Fifa Street, then presumably just killed off because EA

Not bothered about football at all but well up for this.

If this is football with Rocket League ball physics - the annoying car controls + fighting game mixups this will = no less than 1 trillion dollars at the box office

Spent ages trying to remember the game's name but here it is, this one did this 'play one player' gimmick back on PS1. Of course it didn't have multiplayer so it's like the Persona 3 of soccer games, annoying

This becoming one of my most looked forward to games this year. It’s like Rocket League but better in the midfield and becomes a fighting game mixup game when in the penalty box, except you can do tag team mixups with other people by bouncing the ball off the wall
