Razer Wolverine V2 Pro PS5 Pad

Basically just wondered if anyone had any experience with this pad on here? Unlikely I know but worth asking. 
 

Now I’m back playing on the PS5 a lot again my hands are fucking killing!! Like really really hurting. The Xbox pad doesn’t cause me these issues at all so even though it’s eye wateringly expensive I’m starting to this may be worth the price just to stop the pain. I really don’t like the spongey d pad on the DS5 either, wonder if this is any better?

But the pain. Honestly. My hands are in bits after using the DS5. 
 

ive also found it cheaper at a few places, £150 is the lowest I’ve found so far.

brook usually make adapters for stuff like this but looks like there isn't one for ps5

 

found this but there's lots of caveats to getting it working like disabling updates, guess they expect sony to block it

I think they must have some sort of mandate to implement dualsense stuff as it's supposed to be a major selling point of the system, and so they shut down third party stuff but for PS5 games only.

 

It's really dumb, especially for fighting games, which is why I definitely won't be getting that Marvel v Capcom game on PS and I wouldn't expect the community to be very large on it due to lack of crossplay, everyone will be on PC

it's on PS4 rather than PS5, so you should still be able to use your old pads

Over a year later & lucked into one in as new condition for £70 from a local store. 
 

Used it for a couple of days now. Holy shit I’m glad I didn’t pay £150 for one of these.

 

Treat this as a PSA. It’s a really bad pad. It’s feels incredibly cheap (especially mad considering RRP). It’s not comfortable to hold at all, it’s really quite big in a way which almost reminds me of the old Duke controller. The back paddle buttons are in a really awkward spot where you have to stretch and alter your position to reach them. The buttons are clicky like the SX pad which I prefer but they also feel oddly vague & soft at the same time. Worst of all I’ve been getting some noticeable lag in stick movement. After googling turns out this is common when wireless on PS5. 
 

What a piece of shit. The search for a Xbox style PS5 pad continues.
