Hmmm, lot to think about with this one. Initial feeling though…

1 point deducted because performance was a huge issue personally - slightly alleviated after the patch. Fix that a bit more and it’d be an 8. But I still had a lot of issues with it. & much preferred Remake. I know it’s a controversial opinion to like Remake these days but I fucking loved it. This didn’t come close for me.

 

It may be one of those games I look back at more fondly in the coming days/weeks. We’ll see.
 

1 think I will say though, it’s a game which truly feels like it just had no budget. As in it was an open cheque book. I didn’t think games stuffed with this much unique content could be made anymore. Made in a relatively short time frame too.
Soundtrack is A*** too. Where’s Hip Hop De Chocobo though!?

Finished my Uncharted 2 playthru tonight. I left off for a bit, then got wrapped up in FF7 remake, and when I finally got back I only really had the final chapter left. Still a great game. A bit more fighting than I remember, and all the semi playable cutscenes seem strangely dated now, but it's quality throughout, and the remastered version I've got runs super smooth in my PS5 and pops with vibrant colour. Well worth the occasional revisit.

Like Nottolot, this is one of the trio of freebie prototypes released by Bandai Namco recently. They're the product of some new recruit training initiative. This one has you controlling an asshole Pomeranian as you roll in dirt/paint etc. and spread it all around to destroy a nice pristine house. It's cute and fun, about 35-40 minutes long.

Little Kitty, Big City (PC) (game pass)

Cute little arcade adventure. As a cat who fell from the window ledge of the apartment you live in down to the streets below, talk to the other animals and complete a bunch of objectives to get the abilities to get back. It's 4-5 hours long and not particularly challenging, but pretty and nicely animated. I enjoyed the time with it.
