Maryokutai Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Looked fantastic, like a spiritual sequel to Bioshock Infinite. But it also kind of looks way too ambitious for InXile. Cautiously optimistic. 1
radiofloyd Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 According to this interview, it’s a “first person AAA action rpg.” https://www.polygon.com/23757179/inxile-clockwork-revolution-release-date-bioshock-infinite
DisturbedSwan Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Really intrigued to see more of this, ticked all the right boxes for me and looked really similar to Bioshock Infinite in the best ways.

Bioshock Infinite was too ambitious and got scaled back, hopefully it's good but I think the trailer might oversell the scope a bit
AndyKurosaki Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 It definitely looks very Bioshocky. Which is no bad thing.
radiofloyd Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Some good news for a change: https://www.eurogamer.net/former-saints-row-developers-join-clockwork-revolution-development
Maryokutai Posted Sunday at 18:30 Posted Sunday at 18:30 I think this trailer is way too long but otherwise still looking great. Very far off still though, no mention of a release date. Also, except maybe for that weird bot/mech thing this is one hell of a great looking key art. 1
HandsomeDead Posted Sunday at 20:31 Posted Sunday at 20:31 I think this was my favourite of the show. I'm glad because I'm finding The Outer Worlds to be a bit obnoxious but this is hitting similar beats but in a way that is better, just going by trailers.
radiofloyd Posted Monday at 01:58 Posted Monday at 01:58 Taking everything into consideration this was one of the strongest trailers of the show. A good mix of humour and action, and the location looks cool. Seems like a big step up from InXile.
mfnick Posted Monday at 08:54 Author Posted Monday at 08:54 This looks awesome. Agreed the trailer is too long but really excited for it now. The time stuff reminded me of Singularity a bit.
Maf Posted Monday at 10:32 Posted Monday at 10:32 One thing that stands out to me on this game is the writing is really characterful. Maybe it’s just for trailer but it’s got that Guy Ritchie, Lock Stock-esq kinda funny and it really works for me. Opposed to 99% of the other game trailers over the week which didn’t seem to have any interesting story, characters or unique writing
Maryokutai Posted Monday at 13:42 Posted Monday at 13:42 Its dialogue has a nice tempo and 'fluidity', for lack of a better term. I liked the little part where the robot cop asked the socialite if anyone wished him harm and they both just started laughing.
