Nag
Surely they're still review points though... I'd guess more people read reviews over technical jargon. Hearing the game performs (by all accounts) fairly badly on whatever you're using is pretty big news for those buying the game. I'm sure games were losing marks for that type of stuff back on PS4/Xbox One hardware, now it's hardly mentioned at all in the reviews... or cherrypicked.
one-armed dwarf
Might also be just that the game is so good it registers the technical flaws as annoyances rather than dealbreakers Like, one of my favorite games ever runs like total shit. I'd still give that shit a 5/5, cause of how great it is. Much prefer it to some more polished games
Nag
Guess we'll go for the cherrypicking then.😉

I'm six hours into the prologue demo, and it's been great so far. The physical copy is currently on its way. Hype!
Nag
This is another game I'd (mistakenly) thought was coming to Game Pass... I think I need to get out of the habit of presuming everything Xbox advertises is doing that.🤦♂️
mfnick
Damn, looks like I should have ordered the ps4 version. How can this have performance issues? 27 minutes ago, retroed said: The physical copy is currently on its way Where you ordered from? Mines still saying processing Bet you it’s late…
retroed
@mfnick I ordered last night from monster-shop-outlet on eBay with discount code. Not used them before.
mfnick
Ah I saw that offer too but I was scared it’d be late ordering from them since I’d never heard of them before. More fool me. Guess I can do prologue demo if it’s not here on Friday.

Also ordered from here, we’ll see if mine is at home when I get in, with RM these days I very much doubt it. I ordered SH2 from Smyths just so I could go and pick it up, don’t trust RM at all. retroed
The demo prologue is so long and the progress carries over, so just play that while you're waiting.
one-armed dwarf
Yeah, that was my plan. Try the demo and see if I want to get it then. It's not really a 'demo', it's more like how DOOM made the first chapter shareware back in the day. You get to play the beginning for free
