Still have to finish that one too, have been going back to it again and again, Ys VIII blew me away, great story and the OST was amazing, as is the music from Ys IX.

Only a year after Japan? Falcom got boost power.

 

From the little feedback I gathered this seems to be a return to form, so I'll definitely check this out. Probably on Switch, the demo ran surprisingly well.

So the definite release date is the 25th October, which is a nice spot for a JRPG. The latter half of this year is getting really crowded, but this one I'll be picking up for sure.

 

There's also a CE available and some merchandise like plushies and keychains. The sling bag is kind of neat, but I know I'd never use it.

Worth noting that even the standard edition (called Deluxe Edition) comes with a mini artbook and a digital OST.
